I remember that day perfectly. I was quite unhappy with my health and financial instability. After multiple successful and unsuccessful surgeries, I found myself reliant on a wheelchair. Unfortunately, the limitations extended beyond just the inability to move my legs; there were significant financial costs associated with various aspects, from purchasing quality medical aids to dealing with the progression of the illness. These were the reasons for my frustration up until 2021.
On that day, when it all began, I had no idea that a phone call with a friend shortly before midnight would change everything. Lee, I am immensely grateful for that! After a long discussion, a particular sentence stuck in my mind when he likened Bitcoin to a train waiting at the station for the last passengers to board and experience a remarkable journey. That was the first time I experienced FOMO firsthand.

During my initial purchase, I was not familiar with the DCA method, and I made a mistake by investing more than I could afford due to the fear of missing out. However, I felt incredible when it went a few percent into profit. Subsequently, it dropped by more than 50%, only to surpass the previous all-time high shortly after, and then the market finally flushed it out. At that point, I felt less fantastic. Fortunately, I did not withdraw the money at a loss., held onto it, and continued to HODL and gradually accumulate, thanks to information from the internet and gaining familiarity with Bitcoin.

A big thanks go to Bitcoin Channel (Czech), where he created a series of videos titled "Introduction to Bitcoin," which I watched multiple times. The information was presented in a simple and understandable way, often with a touch of humor. I still occasionally revisit them, and the information that initially I did not understand now makes sense. I share this video series with others who I want to introduce to the world of Bitcoin, offering them valuable information to study and decide whether to dive in. I am incredibly grateful to my friend for pulling me into this.

Studying the content in the Bitcoin Channel has added a lot to my life. I had no idea how little I understood traditional finances until I study them. I was taken aback by a video where I learned that the big-dollar is not backed by anything, that it really is just about trust in the state. I was amazed at how complex Bitcoin is from a technical standpoint, yet how simple it is to use. Comparisons to a microwave or the internet showed me that we don't have to understand what's happening behind the scenes technically – codes, hashes, nonce, blockchain, and the others. Just as the average population doesn't know how a microwave works, they just press a button and heat up their food. When you want to find information on the internet, you don't have to worry about how your device connects to the server and communicates in the background with the other side. You simply type what you're looking for, press enter, and there it is. You don't even realize the technical aspect of how money is leaving your payment card, and yet it is a widespread method of payment worldwide.

Fortunately, I didn't lose faith in Bitcoin when the market hit its low in November 2022. I continued to accumulate in small portions, significantly improving my average purchase price from the previous entry during the peak of the bull market, thanks to the DCA method. I'm excited to see the reward for enduring the stress and holding on, even when things were tight. Now, with a pleasant profit, I know that I won't have to ask for help with the down payment on a new wheelchair or other expenses related to my health in the future. And I achieved this pleasant profit before reaching the ATH of 2021. What will happen with greater adoption? When the entry of large institutions fully manifests? When the next halving occurs? When FOMO grips new people entering Bitcoin? I don't know. But I firmly believe that this small appreciation will gradually increase, and I will fulfill my dream of financial independence, with an ongoing improvement in the quality of my life.

In conclusion, with this contribution, I want to convey the following to people, especially those deciding to enter the world of Bitcoin: Educate yourself, stay informed, and don't panic. Only invest what you are willing to lose. I didn't come up with this advice; wiser, more experienced individuals did, and I listen to them. If you encounter any issues, reach out to people who understand it better and have valuable experience. I found support in the Bitcoin Community group on Facebook.

If my story helps someone when they find themselves in the same situation as I was when buying at the peak of the bull run, I will consider myself successful, and it will have made sense to write it.

I wish everyone, especially those who managed to read this far, robust health!

Thank you, Satoshi!

I have a strong FOMO feeling right now and I am at a financial crisis in my life, but I still don't want to miss out right now, I want to start as soon as possible, what do you recommend for me ?

Thanks, it's a truly inspiring story. It proves that Bitcoin is for everyone - it doesn't matter what ethnicity, social status, skin color etc you are. If you are patient enough and make clever investment decisions you will succeed even with modest investment. Thanks, Satoshi, thanks, Bitcoin!
correct ,now this is one strong proof of how Bitcoin connecting all people in the world
from normal to not so normal , from every ethnic/tribes/nations because of how helping this is for everyone.
I myself will be thankful to Bitcoin and of course Satoshi Nakamoto for everything but best given into our life.
Indeed, Bitcoin brings a lot of pleasant news here, the same as for me, knowing that Bitcoin can make dreams come true that have seemed impossible to carry out. but in fact around 2017 I earned a lot of money, until then I was able to have a private house, a success that made me proud, because at that time I was not married, and could make my dreams come true and of course make my parents happy, even though now it's not as much as in the past, but until now it can support the family's economy
wow really ? you manage to have your own house in 2017? that's great to hear knowing
that back in 2017 I was just starting to learn bitcoin and putting a little money to invest on it
now that Its been 7 years , I only manage to buy a bike, renovate our house , put a small
business and still holding my bitcoins waiting for 6 digits and more to sell them.
congratulations to you mate and good luck for more profiting in cryptospace.
Shocking right? But its true that those who started early in bitcoin quite gained fortune or they either buy a property or something that they can buy using their profit in bitcoin and I also known quite people while I'm in college that do crypto currency stuff that also gave me opportunity by giving me a side hustle so as early as I'm in college I learn how to find something that could make me money through bitcoin of course and because there are many crypto currency emrrged it gives as all many options how to earn depends on how will we do in our investments is the result of it.

So I'm very thankful for crypto currency, especially bitcoin, as it is the one who started all of this. Of course,  it will not be launched, but thanks to the developers of bitcoin and its founder, they have added another system where individuals could earn even if they are just students.

This is great to hear. Kudos to your friend who introduced you to Bitcoin. He is definitely someone you should keep forever because not many friends are willing to tell you the source of their income and even have the patience to guide you through it. It’s also a good thing that you listened to the advices you were given because it takes almost nothing to lose money.
I agree, and furthermore, it wasn't just a friend who helped me get acquainted with Bitcoin, but also someone who gave me many other pieces of advice. We met in the hospital when he was recovering from a serious car accident, and I was hospitalized for a planned scoliosis surgery. As you can imagine, it wasn't exactly an ideal situation for getting to know each other, and yet, despite everything, I consider it a great encounter in the end and am grateful for it.

I replayed this post with a very sad heart after reading your entire post. No one can tell when the overall situation of human life will happen and no one can predict what will happen in the future. Your physical weakness and sickness is just a test given by God. This experiment taught you to dream of Bitcoin and by investing in Bitcoin you can eliminate your physical ailments to a great extent and you can support your family as well as treat yourself physically. Wishing you and your bitcoin life a beautiful and prosperous life and that you do better things in the future.

This is just really indiscriminate proof that even if someone has an illness or disability, as long as he believes in Bitcoin, he will surely have savings for the future. As long as you believe in Bitcoin, it is only held in your wallet, and it depends on each of us how many years we hold it.

Now, you are a good example to those who believe in Bitcoin: whatever hardship or patience we go through while we hold Bitcoin, we are sure that we will reap in the end the length of time and patience we have. I can't imagine that even though you have a disability in your health, you still manage to save Bitcoin, and I congratulate you on that.

While acknowledging struggles, it's valuable to also highlight stories of success, like those who've leveraged Bitcoin to improve their financial situation.  These contrasting narratives paint a more nuanced picture of life's possibilities. The connection you draw between Bitcoin's potential returns and the importance of user privacy is insightful.  The possibility of financial gain can be exciting, but it's crucial to prioritize security.

The observation about my Instagram profile and my enthusiasm for Bitcoin is appreciated.  It's true that passion and knowledge are important aspects of navigating the cryptocurrency space. The emphasis on privacy, particularly not revealing Bitcoin holdings, is a critical point.  Imagine the potential dangers of someone knowing the extent of your cryptocurrency wealth.  Discretion is key in this realm.

So so sorry about what you have to go through due to your health  issues, but I am more happy knowing that you are doing OK regardless, your story concerning your journey in bitcoin is a great testimony indeed, I love the fact that you did not sell your bitcoin during the hard times, between 2022 and early parts of 2023, and that you are now reaping the reward for your endurance and continued trust in bitcoin all through this years of bear market for bitcoin and majorly the entire crypto currency market, I am happy you have won finally, and that going forward, you will only become richer and richer in bitcoin, for personally, I see no other way other than bitcoin going up from here and even into the future, atleast, from now till possibly the first quarter of next year, so, there is still a lot of money to be made for those who are already invested in bitcoin right now and are ready to patiently hold.

So, I wish us all a very good luck, and op, I am happy for you always, regardless of you being confined in a wheelchair, you are a winner already, for bitcoin is financial light, you have seen the light and that is all that matters right now.
Congratulations.
I firmly believe that if someone buys at the peak of this bull run, which awaits us in the coming months, they will endure not to sell, and they will not be broken by the significant drop that will likely follow. I believe that perhaps thanks to my story, I may contribute to the desire and strength to endure without selling after a major drop.

All the best to you, especially good health Smiley

In my country the problem of unemployment is constantly increasing to such an extent that competition has started in every job field. So the government is struggling to solve the unemployment problem in this situation. To be honest, without Bitcoin, there would be no chance to solve the unemployment problem in our country. Bitcoin is not legal in my country yet unemployed youths in my country find it easy to get jobs as well as pay for family support as well as education with income from Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not legal in your country yet it is the only solution to your country's unemployment issue, this is quite confusing.  We all know Bitcoin Has done lots of wonders since it was introduced, but we too have to be careful not to exaggerate and 'over-glorify' Bitcoin. There are many ways to solve a country's unemployment problem and a country can conveniently solve them without involving Bitcoin in their plans. Definitely,  not many will embrace Bitcoin because of the risks involved. It is only the strong people that can take such risks and still persevere till they begin to see Returns on their investments, what then happens to the majority of the weak ones who are not bold enough to invest in Bitcoin? Your country should focus more on creating employment opportunities for the people. Employment opportunities are very important just the way Bitcoin is also very important.

One cannot hold longer bitcoin investment if trust and patience are not established. Otherwise, you will always see yourself falling into FUDs and FOMO which will definitely push you into losses because of wrong decision making. Most especially with the current bullish price, it’s easy to fall into FOMO and believe after that bitcoin price will continuous increase in the market when in reality it’s certainly not because of its high volatility.

However, I also think falling into FOMO this time is not that bad as long as you have the intention to hold your bitcoin longer, but when it comes to short term hodling, that’s when FOMOing gets bad.
I have a long term target for bitcoin and if it is now because of FOMO it is also not the right time because you or anyone else can get a much cheaper price. Now the bulls are here and Bitcoin is close to reaching a new ATH, just a little more to go. Being so FOMOed that buying at the peak price will be very painful if the price starts to fall over time. Make sure everything is done with the analysis that has been set so that there is no disappointment when entering higher. buying in increments will also help provide lots of coins at low prices.

in what sense do you call this unemployment solving jobs from bitcoin? do you mean signature campaign payments? because if you are talking about trading then that would be more harder to achieve .
and also don't put the burden to bitcoin for what your country is suffering because every country has their own problem and it is not what bitcoin to solve .

Foremost I love your dogmatic believe by confronting the unpleasant economic and financial conditions with the shield of Bitcoin and kudos with your resistance to repatriate from the Bitcoin journey after it got south at some points not til it has got summoned you to the pool of breaking through those difficulties.

Respect to Bitcoin a life changer technology for good and congratulations for your redeemed healths and of course, congratulations for setting up a good phase against your future being.

People think that Bitcoins are easy money. They need to understand that Bitcoins price depends on many factors. They also need to understand that there is heavy risk when you invest in the coin. There is also chance that you might lose the money, if not invested properly. Hence it is advised that, invest wisely by checking all the risk factors and invest what you can afford to lose in the start. Give time and learn how the market and cryptocurrencies work.

Health is true wealth, actually. I really feel your pain about your health, and I hope you will recover soon. Sorry for your health condition. In summary, I realised you have enough patience to drive you into a profit zone. Besides that, your encouragement to learn about Bitcoin will play a major role in making your crypto journey successful. That's the reason why I often advise people to learn more about Bitcoin and consider it an investment opportunity. I believe other users will be inspired by your story. Currently, the DCA strategy is the most popular strategy. Day by day, we can grow our portfolio through the DCA strategy. I can say you are on the right track, and you will be a successful bitcoin investor.

Thank you. It's true that the life change when I became paralyzed and started using a wheelchair was terrible. Fortunately, just a few months after paralysis, I returned to sports, and it got me "back to the game". I am truly happy if it motivates and encourages even just one person. Judging by the responses to my story, I can only be satisfied that it has positive feedback.

Believe it or not crypto is helping a lot of people to make their life or future better.
There are so many people who are using crypto as another source of income, while other's are using it to hold their savings and earn more than they could get if they just let it sleep on their bank account.
Crypto has given us a chance to earn more than what we could and made it easier for every to start their investment journey.
Many articles already explained us about the impacts of Bitcoin to people around the world. So we mustn't doubt that Bitcoin and crypto have contributed much in helping people. Bitcoin offers the chance to get a better financial status in the future if we are brave to invest in Bitcoin and wants to be patient to wait for few months or few years. But if we want to make it as the source of income, we can trade Bitcoin or other crypto coins. With trading, we can get fast profits (earn money faster). However, it requires a serious learning if we want to understand how to trade in the right way.

Yes, crypto or Bitcoin gives the chance to earn money and improve our financial status. But it doesn't guarantee a success, it depends on ourselves. If we are lazy and never learn seriously, we may end up with losses. But if we have a big intention and we learn seriously, there is a chance to succeed in crypto/Bitcoin.

And one of the things I liked that you did OP is that you didn't lose faith in bitcoin, and that's exactly what others should do who won't just get carried away by FOMO or whatever, because even if the value of bitcoin falls completely, there is definitely no other way to return to it than to go up again. Just be patient in waiting.
Trust in Bitcoin is an absolute must in order to benefit from holding bitcoin. Not affected by FOMO and not affected by FUD. Like now with the Bitcoin price almost touching the last ATH price and this is quite strong FOMO, but in the end it will experience a correction. Just hold on and wait and don't panic, that's the best thing. forcing to buy at peak prices because FOMO will not be good.

When people lose their limbs due to some accident they become depressed and in despair they want to end their life and there are some people who try to choose begging as their profession where you are trying to do something different. You are trying to be self-sufficient and investing in bitcoin without giving too much priority to this physical handicap of yours. The most important decision for you is whether you decide to invest in Bitcoin and investing in the DCA method. You continue to invest in DCA method regularly as you can and hope you get a lot of good out of this investment.
And I dearly appreciate such kind of behavior and they don't think about giving instead, they remain strong and determined. He doesn't make his health an excuse for not working hard instead, he makes use of this as a reason why people don't look down on others who have a disability because they never know that they are even better than those people who are healthy.

It is something we need to think that everyone has an equal opportunity to invest in Bitcoin. What we need is courage and motivation. If we saw people like OP did, I don't think we can't as certainly we can do the same.

This story about the hustler navigating crypto is cool, but comparing folks based on ability ain't the way to go. It's more about the drive to learn, the smarts to research, and the guts to take action, not whether someone's got two legs or not.

Props to this person for grinding and making it work in crypto without getting caught up in all the FOMO and sketchy signals. True friends who share knowledge without hidden fees are gold, that's for sure. But remember, everyone's journey is different. Not everyone with disabilities has the same opportunities or faces the same challenges. Crypto can be a wild ride, and while it's awesome for some, it's also risky. Do your research, don't bet the farm, and know what you're getting into before diving in.

It's wonderful to see someone feeling empowered by Bitcoin, analysing decisions and hodling patiently despite initial setbacks, with the bull market ending rapidly. There's also a lot in the post about a Czech channel that popularizes Bitcoin, and it's nice that there are decent things in local languages about this topic (and the channel actually has a very decent amount of views!). I don't speak Czech, but I understand some of it because I'm from Ukraine and I speak two Slavic languages.
With hodling throughout 2021 and even doing DCA during the bear market, I'm sure that the op accumulated a decent amount and will enjoy a good profit in the next bull market. It's also wonderful that there's a real-life practical purpose of making profit in this case.

First of all a person's achievement is just because of his patience  and if one make a bitcoin investment but has no knowledge and no patience then he will loss all money through bitcoin. Patience is really important if you don't have patience then you will shortly sell your bitcoin due to panic.

Remember that those can easily carry out bitcoin investment who have extra sum of money and have a continues cash flow through a permanent of temporary job because we cannot completely depends on bitcoin as all the time the market situations are not same as we wants.

You've got a really long ride ahead for you OP, your health might not be in the clear right now but I'm telling you that you're going to be fine someday and hopefully when that time comes, you've saved so much bitcoin that when you sell it during it's peak or when the price that you've set to sell your bitcoin comes, you'll be profiting so much from your very long hodl, stay strong and good luck and your journey.

I don't ever see a person that didn't believe that bitcoin can change someone's life because I feel like even if you're opposed to it, you'd still see people that have changed their lives with bitcoin, for better or worse. There's no way that anyone can deny that it change's the lives of people anyway. I think that there's more people that are using it as a way to save money because there's really not a lot of ways that you can have bitcoin or any crypto for that matter to be a source of income, unless you're running a business that heavily involves it, there's not a lot, most likely that there's more that are using it as savings rather than money making because savings is more guaranteed especially with profit.

You are very courageous my friend and I admire your courage. It really feels good to see that you are able to archive a very important need of yours with a Bitcoin profit. You have learn about Bitcoin through a good source, that was why you were able to hold until you got the max profit that enable you to buy a new wheelchair for your self without even seeking for people's help.

If any new commer to Bitcoin can be determined to learn on a solid root just like you did, they will not even become victims to scam that causes them to lose their coins.

I would like to narrow this down to Bitcoin in particular but I know there are other crypto that befits the praises too but its mostly Bitcoin because of its massive adoption and growth and that's what makes the general public benefits so much from it. From where am from Bitcoin has changed the life of so many people and it's still doing that till now but the only thing is that you should know and understand the basic and then you choose how you would like to make Bitcoin and crypto in general help you out.

Sorry to hear about the health related issues and wish things get better with your health and just like how you because financially independent I wish the same for health.

Your story should be a lesson for those who wants to invest into Bitcoin as they just do it due to FOMO and end up selling due to Fuds and luckily you didn't withdraw during loses but most of them end up withdrawing.

That one I believe is a living legacy. No one gets actually lose or makes life worst with crypto if you know how to take it as an advantage rather than a risk to overcome. Crypto has never been a wrong decision for people, the only way people create wrong decision is when they see bitcoin or crypto as a get rich quick tool and immediately invest it without prior understanding on the market. With that, it’s certain that people will actually lose since they don’t even know what they are doing first and foremost.

Gongratulations on your choice for getting in.

On investment-wise i know how you feel. I bought a top as well when i started, even though i started several years earlier (2014). And you are not late, even though people will tell you that. I thought i was late in 2014. I had to learn about DCA as well, and trick about doing dca is to do it when everyone around you say it's over. Then you are buying the fear of others. And sounds like you have picked some good tips on the way. Always listen to people who have done this longer.

But it's not only DCA that i had to learn. I was new to investing and had to learn about valuation. Meaning i had to understand why bitcoin has value and how much value could it have. I didn't understand the marketcap or charts, not to talk about technical analysis of any kind. So it was a crash course to trading 101. Sometimes it felt like i knew more than others, even though i was new at everything. That can happen especially in the bull run. We get cocky as we feel invincible and trader gurus. We forget that bullrun doesn'r make as good investors, how we keep the money we gain in the bear run, is the real test.

And remember to use your winnings. Because it's all casino money before you cash it out. And you don't need to wait for the top. It's only few people who manage to sell that anyway. Just be glad that you made profit.

And what the OP shared here is truly appreciated as he experienced first hand the benefits of getting involved in this market. Despite of his disability, his involvement in crypto created a meaning for his life and pursue his journey here by continuously accumulating more sats.

And that is true, in this forum, I believe, a lot of users are using their involvement in crypto as their another source of income, if not their main source. Just look at the sig campaign participants from a decent campaign, they can earn actually good money every week and that it can already augment to their income.

I'm glad you were able to recover from your ill health, atleast you're alive to preach about the advantages of investing in Bitcoin. Bitcoin investment is the best thing one could do to themselve cause it has a lot of advantages which includes, decentralization, security, transpiracy, quicker transactions, volatility and lots more. And the fact that you knew about it during the bear market gives you more advantage, cause those who invest then and HODL till this point has a lot to benefit currently and in the upcoming halving, where it's speculated to attain an all time high of $100k.

And to honest, asides the Facebook community group you mentioned, I've come to understand that the forum is one of the best, if not the best place to learn about Bitcoin and other Crypto currencies at large, cause on here there are experts and members that would give you a honest answer to what you intend knowing, all you just need is to be bold enough to bring up important questions and be willing to follow their advise as well as learning from their experience.

To crown it all I've come to conclusion that investing in Bitcoin is a good decision for those that are financially capable of purchasing high and also we all need to make good friends that would always be willing to support and encourage us to grow as we progress through our journey in life.

First of all, I congratulate your motivation, not for Bitcoin; that's secondary, but for life; your way of writing sounds like you're thriving, and you didn't allow the wheelchair limitation to actually be a limit on how you're going to live your life. I personally don't know how I'd handle such an incident, but from experience, I'd say that it would be nothing like how you're dealing with it. Also, I agree that technology is amazing, even though we don't really understand what's going on behind the scenes. The same applies to Bitcoin. I've been in the scene for quite a few years, active for a lot less, but I still don't know the majority of its technicalities.

The bear market in 2022 was a major accumulation opportunity; it's great that you didn't get discouraged. I personally miss those times because I was acquiring Bitcoin at an extremely fast pace compared to now. Continue DCAing; it's currently the best option out there, while prices are imminently rising even further in the near future. I wish you the best!

It was enjoyable reading your motivational post.

I wish everyone, especially those who managed to read this far, robust health!

Thank you, Satoshi!
While reading I felt pity about the health story but I was happy to hear it's well now. I always like talking about new Bitcoiners to educate themselves about Bitcoin everyday so they can get every informations about Bitcoin daily. On a normal note, things change everytime just the way Bitcoin price always fluctuate every seconds so when one is in a good company we're he/can be getting informations about Bitcoin they wont make mistakes unless they are on the Bitcoin community to have fun.
You were very lucky to find peace in the Bitcoin community you were in Facebook, but I don't normally believe those things because most atimes there are lot of scammers there and people easily get scammed on social media platforms.

Financial problem? I think when people talk about finances they are talking about lack of money, nothing more and nothing less. So, if we recognize bitcoin as a good investment, it means it can solve financial problems for people. But I agree with you, no matter how good bitcoin is, depending and relying entirely on it is not a good thing at all. Because everything has risks and potential dangers, we should still diversify our sources of income, assets... to make life more secure. Don't focus on one thing, not just bitcoin.
However, there are lot of post on our local board that's always saying Depending on a single income now na suicide now, it means one should not only depend on a single source of income because you won't be able to progress easily. Although, there are very good paying jobs (that's pays million dollars a month) around the world but it's by luck you would be able to secure one of them.
Financial problems start only when you don't have a good paying job and it's always difficult to invest in Bitcoin when you don't have a good paying jobs, without a better job you can't afford to accumulate every month and even when you try to buy Bitcoin, you also need to secure some funds for emergencies.

A sad story, but it is full of hope and renewed opportunities. I hope that the year 2024 will be much better for you and that you will achieve what you were unable to achieve in the past year, but relying on Bitcoin to overcome financial problems may not be ideal, especially with the high price fluctuation, so it is better to have Bitcoin as an investment in the future of something after at least 5 years.
Bitcoin is a good investment but it can never guarantee to solve our financial problems. Although it has promising profits, but it’s still different when we invest for fun and for our future retirement, than to rely everything in bitcoin and expect immediately that it will do wonder to our finances.

I have high hopes for you that this year will bring a lot of profits in your investment. Just stay positive and be more patient while waiting for your bitcoin investment to give you life changing profits. When the perfect time will come, you will eventually reap what you have been sowing all these years.

First of all, I feel sorry about your condition right now there should be something that GOD wants to show you and he has given this kind of situation you, I think he knows that you can accept it very well and you will not turn this as a download but an opportunity and a turnaround to your life right now, and right now your story has now become as an inspiration to many here in the forum.

Actually, I was struggling with Cryptocurrency on my 1st day of knowing about it, and just like you I also experienced being a FOMO hate to admit it but there is actually something you will feel that you seem been missing out at something but a little research and reading can surely get you some knowledge in every kind of transaction in the crypto world, as different Cryptocurrency will have a different path as it was my 1st time knowing about it and I was such a newbie in it.

And people are going into some transactions not knowing that making their Coins into waste, you are surely right to Stock some knowledge before getting into the Cryptocurrency world as this thread of yours could become neat advice and also a guide on what people should need to do 1st before anything else, Making transaction, investing your hard-earned cash with a Decentralized asset, it is not a bad idea but there is just some risk involved.

I totally agree with you, 100%! Also for me it's been kind of the same, and I mean that I used to simply spend some money, save other, and that was it, why? Because that is what 99% of the people do, and nobody ever told me there were way better ways to manage the money. When I discovered bitcoin, wow, it was like a life-changing moment because the more you learn about it, the more you start questioning the whole financial system, and that is probably the reason that nobody teaches some topics in schools. And I especially agree with your closing, thanking Satoshi, because besides whatever happens with bitcoin he already changed the life of people like you, me, and our families, because we can teach them what we learnt thanks to him.

I wish your health all the best. What we can learn from your experience is that, it's all about being patient and never panic. I am one of those that have panicked before and sold at an early time but I still have some of my holdings kept until now. I'd say not literally a panic but there's a purpose of it so, I can still give myself a pat in the back because it had solved a problem of mine. It's still frustrating though because I know that the price of Bitcoin will be increasing in due time. I've missed a lot on the last bull run but that's fine because when I've sold, I am still in profit but just lesser.

IMO, there are not so many newbie investors in the community just as you. Many of them have panicked due to what they see that their portfolios have been going down. They don't have the guts to stay in the market even if they are receiving bunch of advises to just stay calm, DCA and keep on accumulating. Good for you that you've made your research and learned that you'll still be able to recover from that loss you've made during that accumulation period, actually that's just a paper loss as long as you haven't sold yet, you'll recover.

Hello, I can't send you a private message, so I'm replying directly here. If I understand correctly, you would like to help me with some type of prosthesis that would enable me to walk again?

You probably think that I don't have legs. However, I do have them; I just can't move them. I am paralyzed from the chest down. I have severely spastic legs and cannot move them properly even with assistance. Both tendons and muscles are shortened. To make matters worse, in April of last year, I also suffered a very serious fracture in my left leg. Mobility is highly limited. I have a very strong scoliosis as well. In the coming months, I am planning to undergo surgery abroad because doctors in my country are hesitant and lack experience in such cases. The operation I had when I became paralyzed was already very complicated.
I'm not sure if any prosthesis would help me, but perhaps I misunderstood your message.

Oh my goodness, I am sorry, my friend. I didn't realize the condition was that bad; I thought it was something that the prosthesis could fix. My prayers are with you, and I hope that you find joy in the best moments of your life. Regarding what I saw a senior colleague mention earlier, you should try to maintain a confidential life here. There's no need to share pictures or even your handles to seek validation. We already believe in whatever you say, and we are hoping for the best for you. Just keep your spirits high and continue to contribute to the forum. Good luck.

No problem, actually, I'm even glad, because if I start walking, I'll lose my disabled parking permit. Ahahhh

I enjoy reading stories like this which often than not, compares those who are whole and healthy to those who aren't and their means of survival.
That is, many times it isn't disabilities of the body that stop individuals from attaining wealth, but the quality of mind and readiness to learn, research and apply the knowledge that has been gotten.

Here in this story, the tenacity to earn and take care of oneself without being a financial burden to family or society is evidently visible and I admire that because it sure shows how one can silently in any situation earn from cryptocurrencies/BTC without paying attention to the FUD that may rise from unclear or unrealistic crypto signals and news.
It also pays to have good educated and real friends who have grown in knowledge about future happenings like cryptocurrencies and are very willing to share and direct one to gain from their knowledge without adding fees or adding clauses that may become discouraging to one.

Your story is motivation because you didn't allow your physical challenge to affect your future. Many people in your condition would have been in a state of self-pity, where they just keep on giving excuses and feeling sorry for themselves. But you took time to study how to invest, and you also summoned the courage to invest and it is now bearing good fruit. It is common to see people with disability in my country begging on the street because they feel that they don't have a future. But you are doing everything possible to gain financial stability.

Thank you for your words. It's important to say to be fair that I've had a bit more luck compared to people who are on the streets, as I had some support from my parents, and especially in the early stages when I was just living on a wheelchair in the first few months and years, it was a significant source of strength for me. Smiley

I just need a wheelchair, ha ha kidding. Actually, not kidding.  I really need it. O:) Cheesy
Sorry to ask again as I did not understand or get your sayings dear you still in a wheelchair or you can now walk on your feet? Well, anyhow I wish you good luck! keep growing and healthy.

Besides all that we meet such kind of person at such point when we need them, I would consider it a God help for us like God send such person to help us when we need to grow. in my case before I did not know about the Crypto space I used to do other work from where I made money and when stopped making money from there due to some problems/Reasons. Then some of my friends introduced me to the crypto world they told me about Bitcoin and Bitcoin is the First digital coin I bought at the start and when I saw myself making money from it then it brought my interest into the crypto space. From that time I used to do research about the crypto space which includes learning to overcome FOMO, how to stay away from frauds, and stay secure, best way to invest in crypto (DCA, Lump-sum) i mean I learned a lot and I am still learning. I love to learn and see the implement of my learning.
No, I haven't been able to move my legs since I was thirteen. So, it's been 17 years now since I've been in a wheelchair. I have a damaged spinal cord due to a mistake made by doctors during surgery.

The feeling when you learn something new is amazing, and when you see that progress in the field of education while gaining a deeper understanding of Bitcoin or any other industry, it's truly rewarding. Warning about FOMO is one of the first things I do when introducing someone to the world of Bitcoin.

Everything is okay.  You don't have to feel bad. I've been in a wheelchair for many years. I ended up in a wheelchair after an unsuccessful scoliosis surgery when I was 13. Now I'm 30, so I've had enough time to learn to live with it.
Yes, it is true that such friends are a great rarity in life. I met this particular friend in the hospital when he was recovering from a serious car accident. Even though both of us experienced unfortunate events that led us to the hospital, it also brought some positives. Since I am in a wheelchair, at least I have the opportunity to park close to the entrance at shopping centers. And my legs no longer hurt.  Grin Grin Grin

... thanks to all Smiley

Investing what you can afford to live without is also a piece of good advice because the market is predictable. I pray that you keep making good profits that will make you live a more healthy and more financially stable future.

Keep your holdings safe, you know how hard it was for you to get them, so don't waste them, don't fall for any ponzi scheme or even farming pool that tell you to stake your bitcoin for higher rewards, just keep diligence and your reward would surely come.

I checked your Instagram profile which you linked in your profile, OP you are a cool and passionate guy. You must have learned a lot about bitcoin, especially in the context of an asset that has the potential to provide returns, but you have to care about privacy when you become a user. Don't tell anyone how many bitcoins you have, it's too risky for anyone regardless of your physical condition.
Your advice is very valuable for privacy and safety of a Bitcoin holder. It is risky to leak information about our investment in Bitcoin because there are many Known Physical Bitcoin Attacks.

It is a bad practice that can cost us more than loss of bitcoin but maybe in worst situation, we might lose our life too. Invest in secret and keep our investment privately will help us to have good protection for our privacy and life safety.

I hear a lot of sad life stories everywhere and of course many of them basically never give up and keep trying their best in life. Bitcoin has been an important variable in a person's success story in changing their financial condition, this is true and many people have felt the impact.

I hope the best for you and your investment plans, keep up the enthusiasm.

That's right because you will have the assurance that it could still be there after those long years and there is a high chance of it increasing even further. so, it's the best opportunity for those who can afford it and this year's bitcoin halving will be the start for us to reach ATH which leads to the price being up to $100,000+ this is the popular prediction this time and surely it won't be long until bitcoins reach that price because as we can see right now, it's still gaining some momentum despite of all its enemies effort through the years just to make it look bad to the eyes of the investors.

Hello, I can't send you a private message, so I'm replying directly here. If I understand correctly, you would like to help me with some type of prosthesis that would enable me to walk again?

I don’t know how important this will be for you, but I would like to warn you that this forum is considered anonymous; that is, people do not always want to show their identity and try to lead a confidential lifestyle on the forum. I would also like to warn you that in addition to good people on the forum, there may be scammers who can make great efforts to gain trust and draw out or somehow deceive people. Don’t be too gullible; the forum is not a social network where all personal photos are posted.
I just looked at your profile and saw your Instagram.

Your story is truly amazing and absolutely inspiring to me. Taking the time to write about your history with bitcoin, I believe bitcoin has impacted many lives, especially in developing countries like mine. I have gained some level of financial freedom since I started with bitcoin, which makes even more sense now as the local currency is declining and the dollar is rising. This newfound financial independence has made me more confident than before because of bitcoin technology.

For sharing your incredible story, I am willing to donate a prosthetic for you, which will help you walk with your artificial foot for the rest of your life. I will also ensure you receive training on how to use it effectively. I'll also provide a one-year warranty for the product, so you can always have it serviced or replaced if something goes wrong within that time.

Please send me a private message if you're interested in the prosthetic, and we can discuss how to arrange its delivery. We all consider ourselves part of one family here, especially when it comes to bitcoin. This forum has brought many of us together and continues to do so. Sharing inspiring stories like yours encourages more people, especially newbies, to commit to this platform and bitcoin technology at large. Therefore, we need to offer you every support we can to help you navigate this forum and continue to fulfill your purpose here.

Oh yes, that's one aspect I'm proud of. Bitcoin, as a decentralized currency, knows no ethnicity, coloration, nation, or continent. This is one distinguishing aspect of Bitcoin. Another aspect is its decentralization, which means it cannot be controlled. Even if one tries to manipulate or hoard it, it won't affect others. There's no scarcity in Bitcoin technology, so even bad actors won't benefit disproportionately. It's difficult for governments to print too many loads of cash and end up moping the ones available, which can lead to inflation, as Bitcoin operates independently of such centralized control.

You hold because you have faith in Bitcoin and that even proves that it helps a lot to save losses.
If not always but most of the time we learn many things from committing mistakes in the past. FOMO is very influential and certainly affects our minds and is a common reason why people lose control of their emotions and make wrong decisions.

But I see no sweet success, it comes with hardships and a difficult journey. But as long as we trust our investment and keep thinking positively despite losses and mistakes, it is not impossible to reach our goal. Indeed, it takes a longer time but it was worth it.

I read your full story and realized that you are really a very patient person because you held on to your bitcoins despite being hurt so much and increased your investment using DCA method. If they were in your position, many would not have held their investments like this and grown their investments using the DCA method. But one thing you want to know here is when bitcoin halving will happen I want to tell you that bitcoin halving is still 58 days 1 hour 3 minutes away according to time it shows bitcoin halving on 20th of April. But rest assured the market bull run will start a few months after the bitcoin halving I hope you will be more profitable at that time when new ATH is created in the bitcoin market.

It all comes back to their strong belief and strong patience with Bitcoin which makes them continue to try, learn and study it to increase their knowledge. And the experience that makes them better and also the patience that makes them finally succeed in finding the best way and information, to get good profits from Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is for everyone and Bitcoin is for those who cannot walk and people with other disabilities making it easier for them to operate and use it in existing circumstances, and the OP's story is proof that Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin to illuminate and perfect existing shortcomings . And only strong belief and strong patience will generate huge profits from Bitcoin.

I wish everyone, especially those who managed to read this far, robust health!

Thank you, Satoshi!

I see that some people remain positive despite their hard situation and never give up on their hope. There are some people like you OP who still exist as you don't just look for your situation but rather see what you can do to have at least a better life. Yes, if we do not benefit from our investment today but for sure some of our family members could get it. We may not be helpful to them this time or have been a burden to them however we take the chance to help them back on the other way by having this Bitcoin investment.

I hope your story will encourage people who also have faced situations like you not to see how it is bad but rather dare to survive. And most of all, they will also see Bitcoin as an investment opportunity to give a better life.

I'm not sure if I understand exactly what you're writing. I interpret it as saying that by not always being financially independent, I was burdening my own family and being a burden to them. Now, being in Bitcoin, the burden on my parents has also decreased. So yes, that's correct. I agree with you.

In conclusion, with this contribution, I want to convey the following to people, especially those deciding to enter the world of Bitcoin: Educate yourself, stay informed, and don't panic. Very basic and static rules since bitcoin was created, but many decided to overlook the rules and do what they wish. But in the end, majority of those who disobeyed the rules cry. Many of the newbies are of the opinion that these rules are obsolete and you see them look for ways to cut corners and win the market. Some resort to investing in shitcoins, others join signal and pump and dump groups. But the basics is always better.

I agree. As they say, while the DCA method may be boring, it is the most comfortable and, on average, tends to yield more than trying to time the market for the best buying opportunities.

First of all I am sorry to hear about your bad health condition. However, the fact that you have still not gave up and using crypto to make your life better speaks a lot about your character and belief. I wish you lot more success in crypto investment field. One more thing, now the market is near all time high for bitcoin. Do not get tempted to sell your bitcoin you accumulated at lower prices. Instead , hold these for 10 years at least. There is still lot of potential left in bitcoin. I feel that it will become the primary currency worldwide in future.
Certainly, I plan to hold onto Bitcoin for as long as possible, ideally until the point when it can be used directly for transactions, eliminating the need to convert to fiat currency. However, each year I incur significant financial expenses for medical supplies, so I can only choose a small portion each time to cover the remaining costs. Nonetheless, I won't be selling everything, even at the peak of the next cycle.
I agree with you. I consider Bitcoin as an investment for the future.
Firstly I feel bad about your health.

Well if we talk about the whole story of your Bitcoin journey as you narrated your friend suggested you to invest in Bitcoin these kinds of friends are very rare who give you the best advice so that they can also see so becoming a successful person along with them. well in my case, I also started investing in Bitcoin at my friends suggestion, and the best thing I did my own research as well before jumping into the crypto space which is always recommended for every investor who is coming into it.

On the other hand, your faith in Bitcoin will surely return you the best reward because you were having lose at first but you did not withdraw your amount and started to accumulate more and more at lower price which is a really nice action of yours. 2024-2025 will be the best year for crypto investors where the market will return the best reward who were holding tightly.

Platforms like YouTube can be teachers for people who want to learn something. It is no longer surprising if there are people who are successful because they follow and practice what they find in the videos they watch which contain useful content.
Not to compare, but I still use other aids such as watching videos on video platforms to find out things I don't know.

Not all content is good on video platforms. There are 1 and 2 videos that can be used as material for us to study.
Bitcoin has been proven to be able to provide change for many people who make it a long-term investment asset carried out using the DCA method.
They buy Bitcoin for investment at less than the current price routinely until they make a profit when they hold it for the long term.
Investing in Bitcoin can be a way for people who want to gain profits in the future.

Just type it in the search box and you'll probably hit one. In my country it's a generalized one a Filipino crypto community so it's not just bitcoin but also other crypto out there, it's rife with scammers though I think a natural thing in Facebook groups so if you plan to check them out, tread carefully as there's people out there that don't want to fight fair.

Cheers to you OP,  hope that you're going to recovery sooner than you'd expect and at the meantime take care of yourself as much as possible.

I wish everyone, especially those who managed to read this far, robust health!

Thank you, Satoshi!
