The @OP has been inactive after he create this thread, I don't see why many users are keep replying since we can expect @OP wouldn't read our messages and we're don't know what's behind reason of this matter. But I think it's worth to warn other users to not reach the @OP telegram since he might a scammer that will trick a newbie who doesn't know really know about exchange scam.

You know one thing that gets me angry is this newbies always come to lodge a complaint on the forum but would never be online or active on the topic they created. There would be some series of answers but they will never acknowledged if actually they are satisfied with it or not, their questions are not always clear.

Hello and welcome!

1. Discussing in private can easily get to the point you get scammed instead of getting helped. So you should better try to give here as many details as you can (of course, nothing private) and see what people can help with.

He might likely be the one to scam people reason because i have got such engagements before, a newbie somehow sent me messages on telegram claiming he got my telegram details from forum saying if i could help him make a withdrawal that he has been struggling with it. And i replied what could be the problem they don't allow you to withdraw, and he quickly said "He's country is restricted from making withdrawal but can transacts platform to platform" i was like how?
don't you read their compliance carefully before making an account over there and he said he didn't read those details and as matter of facts, he want to use the money inside the platform to settle his accommodations, pays their mother's hospital ect. The funniest part of it is that he was promising to pay me for my time spent if only i could renders him help to withdraw the bitcoin from my end, that he don't mind sending it to me through the platform then i make the withdrawal from my country and converts it to stablecoin and send to him.

I said okay, i never knew he had a bad multive to scam me. Though then i was already told to be very careful scammers comes with something similar, so i did make the account as he said and he asked me to send him the mail i created the account with, which i did. Instantly i check and i saw about 6 bitcoin reflected on the scammed website he sent in btc. First thing that came into my mind was, this guy is a scammer but i just tried to follow him up to help make the withdrawal. lastly i was asked to pay a commision fee of 1 Bitcoin then i could withdraw 5 bitcoin, he said i should take 2 bitcoin and converts 3 bitcoin to stablecoin.
It was then i came into convictions that i was dealing with a scammer instead, what i did was to to send him the email and password of the platform to make the withdrawal for himself before i could be label as scammers. Although then i was very Clever if anyone ask such help i will make a new mail so i could handover the mails to them whenever they aren't satisfied enough. After which i knock him off.

A hacker or a scammer might offer you some fake help if you wanna talk about it through Telegram and it's an easy getaway for that trickster. Much better to tell the details here in public but don't include to say your credentials, email, password, etc. Tell us more in detail about the exchange or platform where you can't your funds and we can't just tell you some recommendations without knowing what you really are experiencing as of the moment and the reason for it to be held by that platform.

Hello everyone, I'm writing to you with a problem, maybe someone knows the solution. I can't get my funds from the platform, if anyone can help here, is mine telegram - @deadmentell Smiley

Your question is not clear, maybe you can explain more on which platform? And what have you done to not get your funds?
If you can't withdraw funds on the exchange platform, of course what should be done is contacting their customer service and asking to process the funds you mean.

How actually can we know the solution when you haven't broken down the problem? We are not like magicians to know the platform you are having challenges with your funds. This plea of yours seeking help looks suspicious and should be disregarded.

This is an unspecified problem. Try to be specific about what happened, so that you can get the help you long for.

and the OP so far has not given any reply regarding the problem he said. If you just want to trap some new users on this forum then there's nothing more to respond to. He is also a new user who created his account today and it only contains 1 post in question at this time. It's just a classic way that won't work if the OP has bad intentions.

But if the OP needs help he should always be active and wait for a response from a senior member regarding the problem at hand. But he only gave the name of the telegram hoping someone would contact him. I think, if there is still no response for more than 24 hours this thread can be locked.

If you don't have the private key to the wallet where your funds are held consider your money gone forever as that is a possible scam, the only way you can have total control of your funds is when you hold them in your private wallet and having your private keys store by yourself which you can use to recover your wallet at any point. But if you have your funds on a centralized site, without any key that means the admin of that site will have total control over your funds.

I think this is one of the classic ways to try to trick other users into asking for help, but I hope this one doesn't.

I remember this method has been complained and warned by some users and people should avoid it. The scammer will usually say that he can't withdraw his funds because his IP is blocked by that unknown exchange, and if this is the case, I hope you ignore it and report it.

However if the OP really wants to get help, then he should tell the details of the problem and not lead the user to scammer's paradise (telegram).

I assume that this is not one of those posts whereby people try to lure others into helping them via PMs on social media platforms, and end up wishing they hadn’t ...

I also hope that the OP is honest and just needs help, but at first glance, this seems like a classic scam where someone's funds are stuck on some fake crypto exchange, and all that is needed is to make a small deposit to enable withdrawal. If someone helps the OP privately and gets such an offer, don't be naive to fall for such a trick.

There's a two possibilities here, either the @OP is a scammer or an innocent.

Don't forget there's many scammer ask random person to help them to retrieve their funds on the exchanges by asking them to at least deposit for x amount. They also promise to pay a fees for the people who want to do that, it's a scam since there's no legit exchange will ask to deposit to unlock the funds.

The @OP could be scammed by centralized sites, it can be because phishing, using unknown site, etc.

Not accusing you of being a fraud, but here is a place to discuss the problems that exist in developments out there, if indeed you have any problems, at least provide accurate evidence so that everyone knows what your problem is, if in essence you tell everyone  people send personal messages then it can be stated is a personal problem, but you are talking in this forum, meaning you can get and guidance from everyone, because of your post..

More heads are better than one right? So you tell your story here. Detail everything in this topic from the start until the end instead of doing it in private from a single person. This forum is filled with knowledgeable people willing to help including yourself.

My early guess is you invested money in a High-Yielding Investment Program or HYIP. The platform stopped working and you cannot retrieve your investment anymore.

If you are new to crypto, you can follow this simple rule. Treat everything as a scam until proven legit.

You can stay active in this forum. There are many topics that are helpful for you to better understand bitcoin and how it works.

If this is how OP gives briefing about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, then OP isn't gonna get help. There is nothing mentioned more than, he needs help. Stated to have personal conversation, where he'll mention about the reason for death. I find this to be a way to contact each person separately to promote some project.

Don't be victims, make a contact through telegram if he shares more information regarding the project.

Besides what’s already been mentioned, while you’re at it, you may want to hide the email that is displayed on your profile for privacy reasons, unless you are conscious and deliberately what it to be visible for everyone as it currently is.

I presume you are really asking for help, in which case you will need to provide some details as explained by @NeuroticFish. I assume that this is not one of those posts whereby people try to lure others into helping them via PMs on social media platforms, and end up wishing they hadn’t ...

Describe your problem (without specifying your confidential information, such as personal data and wallet addresses) in as much detail as possible on this forum (in this thread) and someone from the bitcointalk community will definitely help you. In any case, many will join the discussion when more details about your problem are known. The more opinions you hear, the more options for solving the difficulties that have arisen you will learn. Personal discussion in telegram (or anywhere else) may not be safe, as you have already been told.

For beginners, it might be more appropriate to be on this board > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0.

It's true that @NeuroticFish gave more details to let people know your concerns about the platform and I'm not sure people will send direct help unless you precede it via PM Telegram, now more scammers if someone needs help let alone list your Telegram, so be careful beware of that, it's better to be open and someone who knows for sure will direct the instructions in the right direction.
