From what I read, looks like you get tipped in "Gems" which you then exchange for bitcoin.

You can make it rain Bits and you can tip with Bits, Android users can reply to a message with Bits payment. Tipping Bits like how it's done with Gems will be added.

We have our own group where we make it rain and tip frequently, just shoot me a message to join.

Seems nice but it's not a new idea. There are gambling website chat's, for example, that have rains too
