how many i get to mining litecoin ?

litcoin mining  is best thant bitcoin mining ?

Do you own an ASIC? Otherwise it's nearly impossible to make any money mining litecoin i'm afraid...

Oh really well this information is helpful for me, if i start mining litecoins.

My sarcasm detector was bleeping when i read your reply... It was, however, an honest reply to the OP's question... If you do not invest money in an ASIC, you're not going to make any kind of money while mining for litecoin... I'm not being a bully or trying to spam my sig, it's the short version of the truth...

You'll basically trow away money because your electric costs will be higher than the amount of coins you mine... And my point was to make this very clear as a warning to somebody who was asking this question.

It's sad but true, and i stand by my words :

Yes, but don't forget the fun factor! Nothing wrong with trying things out before you invest in new hardware. I remember how much fun it was setting up my first wallet and receiving my first faucet  payout!

And it was just as much fun setting up my first miner. Of course I didn't make a profit, but it sure was fun. Soon after I gained some experience I invested in new hardware. FUN FUN FUN

Happy mining  Grin

GPU mining is relatively easy.
Google Scrypt-GUIminer.
Here is a link to the download; https://guiminer.org/guiminer-scrypt.html
Virustotal if you don't trust the link;

Also, if you're tech savvy, CGminer 3.7.2 allows GPU + Scrypt mining usage:

I'm sure you know that CGminer is safe, this is the main directory for it  Tongue
Yep! nice and simple guide!
As for mining Litecoin, you will need to buy some Scrypt ASICs, which I believe you will need to make a good investment in the latest ASIC hardware to reach ROI

Well... technically you're correct, but i still stand by my first post: buy an ASIC...

I have a 300k gridseed laying around, and even this one doesn't break even when i calculate the power consumption. Cpu/Gpu mining will cost you a lot more on power than it will generate litecoin...

To make some money mining litecoin you need:
- a good electricity rate
- a lot of luck
- a very good scrypt asic
