It can be hard to pick out the physical item auctions in the flurry of digital listings that get posted. Surely it would be better to make the auctions format a sub section of the digital / collectible goods boards - it would draw in the most interested users and be a logical extension to the forum heirachy.
Starting this to see how people feel about the "Auctions" section and it's contents.

I personally don't find it hard to browse the auctions section. I don't think there are still enough different posts or the rate of creation of auction of thread is so significant that we need more divisions. I vote for bringing in no changes. I started thread here:

I voted for "Auctions get subsections: physical, digital, etc..."
I regularly visit the auctions section and look for bargains but not anything about digital goods like forum accounts or access to other forums. Also if you guys notice the forum accounts that is placed under auction most of them don't get any bid due to high starting bid and its becoming to be a discussion thread to lower down that starting bid before the ball gets rolling. I'm thinking that its nothing but a thread to increase post count. JMO.

+1 for this idea by this way the section will be more easy to search but i think most people will not post it in the right category
Forum moderators will be moving them then to the correct section.
While I disagree with your other proposal, I do agree that this one should be implemented. Currently the Auctions sections is a mess due to the variety of the things people sell, so separate sub-forums could work well.
Perhaps it could be similar to the Goods section in where there is a 'Digital Goods' and 'Collectibles' section, since those are the most popular things to be auctioned. Any miscellaneous auctions or questions could then be posted in the Auctions section its self, outside of any sub-forum.
