Jesus, you need balls of steel to trade lisk.  Been following it on yobit and the price swings are nauseating.  As bad or worse than some of the shittier shitcoins I've seen.

So I take it the coin has been released?

You know damn well it hasn't been released..............What happened?......Missed the ICO and now hating yourself???

No sir, I actually have to plead ignorance and I asked that question sincerely.  My only internet connection is my phone (or when I'm at work) and I don't use it a lot for browsing.  Haven't read much about what's happening with lisk.  But what's trading on Yobit is currently in the shitter.  I meant what I said--you have to have a strong stomach to put any real money into these things, even these "IOUs".  Crazy.

If you are trying to make money the swings are a good thing.
it's hard to make a good % profit trading btc to USD when the price is so stable

I hear ya, bro. I was thinking and asking about issuing a Horizon Asset back by my Lisk (bought from IOU) but the volatility got me shying away. Too hard to peg an appropriate discount: one that not only adequately compensates for both market fluctuations plus buyers' waiting for the launch but also not low enough to signal "Desperate Seller."

Strangely, Yobit's IOUs have settled in at around 0.01. But for how long? Who knows?  Huh Certainly not me.

What are they trading if it was not released yet

They trading a token that (according to Yobit) will convert to Lisk after the launching date.

But I thought Lisk said that Yobit took it upon themselves. Does it mean that the IOUs people are trading right now may or may not be converted to real lisk?

Anytime you trade on a centralized exchange, you are already working off IOUs. Just somethng to keep in mind. Smiley

With 3 exchanges. hopefully we're getting to a more realistic assessment of the actual Lisk value. I understand it's a small sample, but you would think the prices should work towards a median.
