Refund has been processed for buyer.

Sorry about any misleading information

I guess it pays to check your coin before you sell it!!!

And not trust even the maker's website... just the website at this point, investigation pending

Thanks,

Thanks for the refund, bro.

Ooops, but hey, it isn't that bad.

What fool would buy ANY coin (titan, btcc, casascius, or other) with a peeled sticker in the belief it was funded? (Or that the funds would remain after the purchase? - Ha!)

Even if it was 'still actually' funded, you know full well someone pulled the sticker to get the private key.  Even ANACs could have recorded the private key of a peeled sticker to later pull funds if it wasn't actually redeemed yet.

In this case, it simply appears Titan's website didn't see the coin was redeemed.  It's worth an email to them to scan all coins.

Minerjones - I'm sure you paid a price for the coin that reflects the voided sticker (redeemed coin), instead of full value.
But, if Titan is giving you a free .1BTC, then I would take it an run.  (That's great customer service by them giving away free bitcoin - I need to check my stash; however, I've never purchased a redeemed coin considering it as still funded.)

If I were Titan, I would be rescanning all public addresses for value.

Thank you for your words.

When I purchased, the photo posted did not show this peel part of hologram.....
So when I checked and saw it "loaded" per Titan website, I was satisfied.
Guess the blockchain should be checked 1st.....next time Cheesy

Titan has been great and contacted me on this.

They are reimbursing me the face value of the 0.1BTC Cheesy

thanks

I'll openly admit I messaged you enquiring about some specific coins Smiley
Yes, the Titan website is sold out of all except the 1oz Gold 1 BTC which can still be obtained directly from Tim for the website price.

Would appreciate a reply Wink

I wasn't going to throw anyone under the bus; however, your request is fair and didn't ask me to beat the price listed on the website.

Yes, I actually had a fool ask for Silver 1BTC silvers and to beat the $499 price listed on the site knowing full well BTC is currently at $660.
(And, if someone finds such a deal, please let me in on it.)

Zepher... I am currently trying to find a reasonable price and a list of what I have.  My collection is all low and/or specific serial number requests.  Yes, I have COAs, they are PKey version, and am the direct buyer.

EDIT:  Please only go through PMs and I might start a thread.  I don't want to take away from the OP selling coin.

Looks like all the coins are out of stock from Titan.

Let me know if you want one.  I have all of them available.

EDIT:  Because I have received four requests in the last 30 mins of me posting this, I want to point out that Titan's website hasn't updated the current price of BTC.  So, please don't bother messaging me if you think you are going to get them for the $ (price) currently listed on the site.  It would be a waste of your time.

Yes I was quite curious to know if it was still loaded by looking at the tampered hologram.

Sorry for your loss OP but next time be careful of such deals on eBay.
There are several fraudulent practices going on there.

Btw I think you fell for this link: https://www.titanbtc.com/verify/RAmSvaG4 and with the green check mark you thought it was funded.
But oh well!

Problem seems to be that the Titan website is not reflecting changes in funding. If you click the full address, you see the correct information.

This obviously needs to be rectified. A lot of people will just rely on the green tick and (FULLY FUNDED) instead of checking the full address. Not best practice of course, but it happens. I've done it myself.
