I never liked these coins because their face is misleading.  The face implies the coin is 999 fine, when it is just gold plated.

I never heard of "Mills" so I also find it misleading as well.  I assumed it stated solid gold, but knew better due to the low cost.

received the coins. Packed very well, capsule with foam ring. Coins are nice. Shipping costs and time are very acceptable.

They seem to offer free shipping...

I recommend personal orders to save on re-shipping fees.

Please let me know if I have missed something Cheesy

thanks

They do charge me $4 for shipping for 2 coins.
1 coin is $3 shipping.
From there they will charge $1 for every coin you add.

Looking at the shipping page it says 'For larger international orders please contact us for a consolidated shipping quote'

Some detail....

100 mills fine or 100 mills thick (sometimes .100 mills)
100 mills merely means plated.  Sellers want you to think that  "100 mills" plating is somehow more valuable than regular plating.  "100 mills" is a fantasy term that has no generally accepted definition.  The "100 mills" items pictured below are NOT pure silver or gold.  In fact, they have very, very little precious metals.

I wrote to one of the major manufacturers of these bars and asked them to tell me what "100 mills" really meant.  Their answer was, and I quote, "just a thick layering but still very little to no value of gold / silver."  The manufacturer admitted  that there is almost no precious metal value in these bars.
Example: 100 mills 24kt gold = gold plated.

Those on ebay are expensive. Shocked

as they still can be purchased directly from Australian mint (they have both types 1/5 and 1/10 100 mills for $4 and $3 )  Grin

Do you have a link or website for this?

Thanks

Sorry, I forgot to post a link to their website. Here it is.
