These things are going for over $1000 on Ebay so I want to raffle off a few of my series one physical Bitcoins in the easiest and fairest way possible.

I am open to suggestions on how to go about this.

If you run a site that can raffle these things off for me (including advertising) for a small cut please contact me.

Thanks!

1) find a guy offering 8%/wk

2) get any community member that will listen to you to invest through you personally

3) place "Pirate is not a ponzi" in your signature to further investment as the scheme collapses

4) never apologize to anyone for your role in the scam

5) choose the winner at random at random, rig how you learned from Pirate.

Just SHA-512 hash a secret password. Make the hash publicly available. Then, let people choose numbers. Hash the numbers (with their usernames if you don't feel like screening out duplicates), concatenated with the secret password. Whoever has the lowest hash wins, similar to mining. Release the password afterwards so anyone can check it themselves.

Requires almost zero technical knowledge and can be done without downloading any software.

Of course, you could just win the raffle yourself artificially, this way. Maybe you could use the hash of such and such a block that would be mined after all raffle tickets were chosen, for the password. No need to choose a particular one in advance of the entire raffle, as long as you choose which one you're going to use before that one is mined, so it's provable that you couldn't have known the password in advance.
