What Bobby says and what Bobby does are two different things, I was under the impression these poker chips would not be sold prior to today. 
In the main thread he also details the differences between the chips given as gifts and promotion and the ones now for sale. They are different chips.
I know the chips are different and the "giveaway" ones are not the same as the ones being sold. Maybe I should have stated, "I was under the impression BTCC poker chips would not be sold publicly prior to today.", as that is what was meant.
I think it's impressive with how many unexpected announcements come from BTCC, so I don't see any problem waiting!
I assumed the opposite as soon as I saw the promo chips. Bobby is a big poker fan and it didn't make sense that he was only going to make a small denomination chip, a whole set of different denominations was more a question of when for me.
