On https://forum.cryptonote.org/ forum they gave support for making bytecoin clones I remember almost 3 years ago. Monero is Bytecoin clone. Monero clones are not that many. Aeon and this new one hmm BipCoin i think.

But I first suggest you to find a good reason why you want this new coin. What will it give to Crypto space that dont exist yet. With a good reason you will easily get supporters and fellow developers that will help you develop a coin. With no good reason, even if you make it run, will die soon after.
