I though the Chavez lackey fellow was expected to win?  Would be quite a turn around to see the guy that he beat just a short time ago win now, like it or not dieing tends to improve your popularity and he is basically running against Chavez's ghost.

That said Venezuela dose not need to fall under a defacto one-party-rule even if it is fully democratic, it tends to make the ruling party lazy and corrupt.  A cult of personality can be even more damaging so Chavez's death spares the country and his own party of that.

Preaching the gospel of Satoshi
I am only want to write some words about my country. This sunday we´re going to have a new democratic president (we are living in Comunism right now). I think that Capriles will open the economy and we´ll be able to buy or sell bitcoins in my country in a near future (right now we have a closed economy, we can´t get Dollars or Euros Undecided )

Well, Right now we are trend topic in twitter #CaprilesEnGlobovision

I think that if Capriles wins (we have 53% of votes) i think that we can operate in venezuela with bitcoins. For example we´re going to be able to open a Vene.Gox or MercadoLibre could use bitcoins
But even if it is a closed economy, bitcoins could be allowed since it is not officially recognized as currency.
AND if it gets banned, it would be a defacto acknowledgement as currency Smiley
It is a win-win situation in my book Cheesy
