What a bullshit article from a bullshit site. This is the kind of thing that makes me furious, because sites like this are famous for posting attention grabbing articles to attract viewers to their site and then once you investigate further, you will find that there are no evidence backing their content. ^grrrrrrr^

The damage that these FUD articles are doing to the Bitcoin community is not good for Bitcoin and they seem to put their own site interest above the interest of Bitcoin. ^hmmmmmm^

Could this be a front site to shill for some unknown competition or even a government sponsored site?

I think is good if many people in iran use bitcoin, and can byepass US sanctions
but i can see in iran bitcoin not pupular, iam never hear bitcoin exchanger from iran

if you read my comment you'll see what i said about exchanges an how it is done p2p, they way it was meant to be by satoshi.
bitcoin has been very popular and the popularity is growing very fast specially with the higher price when it passed $1000 at the end of last year.

This news has good news for the Bitcoin community that it is being recognised by Iran. This shall act as a lead to many countries and we all shall benefit. Now one issue I am facing is that with USA banning citizens from certain countries and I don't support his logic, what happens if he bans Bitcoin due to this. And won't this give rise to fears of Bitcoins being misued and pretext to trump for taking such a drastic and so could other world leaders also follow. I just hope my logic turns out incorrect.

just another shitpost from news.bitcoin.com, the are officially taking information out of their a$$ each time they publish a new article!

As you see Iran has suffered a lot in the past due to US sanctions. Now,governer of central bank of iran has said that iran would eliminate the use of US dollar within the country.
this is bullshit and a misinterpretation of a different news. and it has nothing to do with bitcoin.

Bitcoin is quietly becoming valuable in iran as they  could be easily spent abroad by their citizens.
bitcoin has been valuable here from early 2012-2013 and there has been many miners back then and the number is growing once again these days.
and as for users there are a lot of them, mostly using bitcoin as a currency and some as investment and for trading.

Their citizens use localbitcoins and a market place called coinava.
localbitcoins is not really that much popular we use other peer 2 peer methods directly with a bank transfer or cash or other methods.
and coinava is not a name i have ever heard and last time i checked it out, it seemed very shady and mostly dead.
and just FYI that website is currently reporting price as $1313 to sell and $1467 to buy, if that is not screaming scam i don't know what does!

Moreover a shoe company named persian leather company is a bitcoin only business.
they just googled bitcoin+Iran and copy paste the first thing that came up. good job bitcoin.com!

It seems iranians have decided to byepass US sanctions via bitcoin.May be Iran would be the first biggest country tasting the utmost benefits of bitcoin globally. Here is the link

Bitcoin is truly a currency for the commoners who needs freedom from political and national conflicts. This is one of the main ideas behind bitcoin.
