It looks like both Innosilicon and Bitmain are doing pre-orders for miners in ~September.

Based upon the price difference, the L3+ is still the way to go if you're willing to wait 2-3 months.

The A4's are great but for only $600 less and basically half the speed, it's not worth it.

But isnt the A4 two units?  Each one being 280 MHS, so a total of 560 MHS for $1400, vs Antminer's 504 MHS for ~2100?

Each Cube is 135MH approximately.

1 Controller can support up to 3 cubes giving you roughly 400mh but you end up paying somewhere around $700-1000 per cube at the best possible price.

My L3's for example have already half paid for themselves -- my A4's that I've had much longer, have not half paid for themselves yet as my 3 cube setup cost me near $3500.

No 1 A4 unit is 270Mhas/s it consists of two blocks+ controller (Controler can accept max. 3 blocks). Some resellers have split apart units and are selling them in single blocks - around 135 Mhash/s.

Also unless Inno has changed their rules.

1. They don't accept cryptos which is a BIG BIG minus.
2. They have very high shipping costs if you buy low ammount of miners 1-3. You get good prices if buying 5 or more miners.

But i guess after Bitmain sells out September batch, Inno will easily sell theirs Aug batch.

Havent checked delivery schedules but that being equal it is worth it imo to stick with the L3s, although some people like innos machines better.  As far as how many L3s on a certain breaker, it all depends on the amps of that breaker.  Whatever you do dont load that particular breaker over 80% of its capacity same with the entire box running your house.

I ordered four Antminer L3's but now that the LTC price has gone up, they are too expensive for me.

I was thinking about getting some A4 Dominators instead.  Is this a good idea?   The A4 Dominator seems to be more hashing power for less money.  But it also seems to be two separate units.   I was trying to figure out the amperage for the A4 Dominators.   How many pairs of units would be able to plug into a 240 volt? I am thinking 4 pairs, each at around 1050 watts.

Or should I keep it simple and stick with one supplier  (bitmain) for all my miners?  I think I can run eight L3 Units off of one 240 volt plug using 4 power supplies (apw3) right?
