Probably because people like me have so many users ignored that it literally degrades the server this is hosted on. They had to implement an anti-spam feature that now doesn't allow me to view or edit my ignore list, only add more users to it.

Showing your ignore list may degrade the server, but "having the users Ignore-link color changed based on how many people were ignoring them" should just be a simple SQL query.
