It’s hard to see that a poll could make an accurate data on what your looking for as most of the time there’s a chance it will be compromised by noobs who will join and based they’re answers on opinions not on actual experience. The forum is so open for abuse like this and it is not a regulated area that only the legit investors can vote. But Goodluck with that as it might be successful or not.

How to do you think I should conduct it?

Yesterday I read a post about investor who put about 120k $ into crypto (mostly into NANO) buying at all time high but due to price decline and hacked exchange lost his savings. That gave me an idea of doing a poll about investor behavior, for example how much money do you put in crypto on a monthly basis, what`s your best source of information, do you read whitepapers and doing own analysis or just rushing for a quick buck, where do you store your crypto etc.

How do you feel about it? Would you be willing to fill it so we could map an individual crypto investor and see what are his goals, how he reacts and what does it all mean to him? Cause I see that all warnings and statements are still not heard by many.

Write questions that you consider relevant, I will combine it with mine, make a poll and present results.

Different behaviors on each investor but do only have one common target or goal which is on making money with engaging theirselves into cryptocurrencies. Situations regarding on losing savings is common yet some of us do jump in without any proper preparations or idea if its the right time to enter or not. Not only on hacking incidents we are at risk but also into dumping of prices when people make profit taking.Entering the wrong time will really fucked us up.

Many investors ride on a wave of growing demand but many falls too due to recklessness, greed, etc. That`s why education and analysis matters. When someone do not hear you gotta speak louder to show them the way. Although, if they make mistake they`ll also learn but on a hard way.
On this market there would be only gainers and losers and being greedy cant really took out into a single person where there are really times we do make mistakes and decisions which would result into loss of money. We do have different behaviors just like been said above its up to ours on how we do execute and do our job as an investor. The more knowledgeable we are the higher chance on making money.

may be different from other investors ,, when i find my investment is broken with crypto market that fall ,, i lelau do buy again and hold all coin that I previously invest and enter again in same coin ,, and i will never sell coin until the time when the coin price is high again

Holding all coins will not be wise idea. If you invested on the altcoins you please go with trading for cheap coins you have. Whenever the market value changes we need to find the best bump goes cheap and invested on that coin.
I have holded few altcoins in the coinpayments wallet.
Those coins are giving me the better profit all the time.

I do not understand what your goal is, will you conduct research or need advice from people.? but okay, I'll keep commenting, there are so many people who get stuck in this game when their waves quickly invest in bitcoin, because they think prices will continue to rise, once they buy it the price drops drastically, this is what keeps them trapped in game market.

A search like that you want is hard to do, especially on this forum thread's format. Crypto-Currency is a vast world with people accessing its features from everywhere, very hard to track investor's characteristics, behaviors, profiles, etc. What you will find here are some personal opinions, but that may not reflect the reality in numbers. I believe there is a common mindset shared by many investors.

They don't know much about Crypto-Currency, want fast profit, always looking for alternative currencies to invest (as they want faster profit than BTC can make), investing their exceeding money in a monthly basis and using local friends or sites (from their country) as source of information.

Rushing will not help an investor in the cryptocurrency industry. That would lead you to a big fall when an investor does have an attitude of rushing things especially profiting.

And that's the first example of what you have to avoid in investing, don't be like that guy who just bought when its totally expensive and thinks that it will be profitable for him, it's a no if you are rushing but time will come that he can recover it soon.

I have a pretty complicated investment profile.

Beginning of the month > Bills paid > wife happy > buy crypto

I planned on doing a research but I need a starting point, could find something on different sites but also want to have a raw data for establishing own hypothehes.

First you need to identify who are your target, and what kind of research study you are going to do. It will be easy to gather raw data if you knew where to get, how to do, and who's to approach.

If possible, I advise you categorize your poll participants based from where they came from.
It could give you extra results , like for ex.
- From all the countries included on the poll, South Korea have the highest investments.
- China have the most potential in investing into crypto

First, you need to know the audience you are presenting this kind of research. You may want to know what their status, job, age, country they are living in etc. so that you can tailor your questions according to what kind of people they are. You need to have a specific purpose first why you are doing this kind of poll or research. Is this for a school project or for investors? Through this way, you will know what specific questions to ask your poll participants.

You may want to add questions like what convince them to invest in cryptocurrency. Is there anyone who convince them or is it just themselves who have done their own research about it. Did he hear or see it in television or social media. Does he know someone who also invest in crypto. What is his answer when someone ask him about crypto and would say it is scam? These are just some of the questions I can think of aside from your questions stated above.

Here, maybe you can start digging some of the answer on the following threads:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/how-to-spot-irrational-investors-2867914

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/questionnaire-bitcoin-and-investment-behavior-852493

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/did-you-place-all-your-funds-into-bitcoin-1823446

There's even one survey about "Questionnaire: Bitcoin and Investment Behavior"

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1HRF-hdftD85jy0clDZEx03zULDKe5-3GzfyOyMumnWU/viewform?edit_requested=true

But it was very old, (2014), but I'm sure you can pick up some good questions on it.

It's not so useful unless you are going to set up a reasearch about Investors behavior.

Anyway, in order for the poll to be successful you need to add more categories, such as place of living and age, as someone who lives in a poor country won;t be able to invest the same amount as someone who lives in a western country would be able to invest.
The poll won't really help someone that is going to put a large amount of money into X, the fact that other people put less money then him won't change his mind and won't make him to put a lower amount of money.
