Without sounding like a party pooper I tried something like that a while back, I think MJ did as well.. People did not understand and did not want to play and in the end the regular raffles stood victorious.. Innovation with raffles has always been hard, I know I've tried probably 10-12 different crazy things that IMO are extremely fun but nobody wants to play, as soon as I changed to a regular raffle with the same entry cost the same one fills quickly.. :shrug:

What if it was simple? No picking other than your paid spot or spots 1 through 64 on the bracket?

Well, I’d prefer raffle or auction. But as this is a special piece, it should be acquired in a special manner. I suggest an MMA or Muay Thai tournament. Winner takes all with an entry fee for everyone.

Just out of curiosity, how did you come up with 14 participants? In my mind it would be 64 participants and you would have for the first day 32 consectutive blocks you choose for “matches” against the person you “play” against, and then the next day you would pick the same time different characters and repeat the next day with 16 blocks, and so on.
i counted the first brackets in hurry, so it is indeed 32 participants that will pay and play
