no, you should download the source code, double check it, run it on localhost virtual instance with no internet connection, generate an address and private keys, destroy the virtual instance  Grin


not everyone is a js expert.

surely theres a better solution to creating private keys online.......

i'm not an expert......

but the keys are generated using javascript, which doesn't require an internet connection

so its possible to save the file as a html document, and run offline.

the reason for doing it offline is to stop malicious code embedded within the javascript from uploading the private key to a server.

So I go on a site, I disconnect, and then I generate paper wallet ? How does this work ?

Sorry for noob question, but how can we know those sites are not saving the wallet they are generating, and so have full access to wallet ?
