I used to not be sure about the whole bitcoin cash/ bitcoin debate but after watching Roger Ver interviews I'm starting to be convinced that big blocks are the way to go.

It may or may not be the "way to go" and that is of course down to personal preference and opinion, but it's certainly not the original bitcoin and is obviously a fork of it which makes it an alt coin but just with bitcoin branding (which is a smart move on Ver's part I'll grant him that). Bitcoin cash is just Roger Ver's own vision for bitcoin and one which he wants to control as he sees fit which is why I don't like it.

But him trying to disregard the bitcoin, though it might be better as per you, calling it the real thing is the biggest issue here in my opinion!

what pooya87 says should summarize it, as well as bitcoin cash being a copy of bitcoin with some changes - bitcoin could apply the same changes.
is it really wise to divide the community this way? not only is it crypto vs fiat but now it's internal problems too.
how about being honest with everything and see what happens, instead of acting like Roger Ver with saying saying BTC = Bitcoin Cash (I think that's right he's saying?) trying to trick people into buying Bitcoin Cash thinking it's Bitcoin.

Actually, he is promoting a counterfeit product (BCH in name of BTC). If he is really sure about his product and its usability then he will tell the world that he has created a better product than BTC and will not try to cash the popularity of BTC to market his own product as BTC.

I used to not be sure about the whole bitcoin cash/ bitcoin debate but after watching Roger Ver interviews I'm starting to be convinced that big blocks are the way to go.[/size]

why? just because Ver talks about benefits of having 32 MB blocks and doesn't mention any of the many downsides of it?
you don't have to be an expert to know BCH is useless. just go to a block explorer and look at the transactions and blocks. bitcoin has 4 MB blocks that are 100% full and is handling more than 2000 tx per block on average.  while BCH has 32 MB blocks that are about 0.0006% full on average and handles about 5 tx per block.
it is like the world is already answering your question...

Bitcoincash might be closer to the actual whitepaper by Satoshi because of BCH having no SegWit, but still, NO. The real and original bitcoin will always be the coin that will have the $BTC ticker. With that said, as much as how I'm really thankful to what Roger Ver has done to help bitcoin in the past, I really hate how he advertises BCH as the "real bitcoin". Even calling BTC as bitcoin core. It's stupid.
1. the whitepaper mentions bitcoin is a decentralized payment system. BCH is not decentralized so it is the farthest from the paper.
2. ticker is not something that is set with consensus rules. it is set inside a centralized place called exchange platform and because of that it is not determining what is "real bitcoin". in fact some exchanges don't even use BTC for instance kraken uses XBT.
3. Roger Ver has always been interested in making money and becoming richer. he hasn't done anything for bitcoin he has done it for his own pocket. just like the way he doubled his amount of coins when he started BCH.

Bitcoin Cash is the continuation of the Bitcoin project as peer-to-peer digital cash. According to investopedia, Bitcoin cash was started by bitcoin miners and developers equally concerned with the future of the cryptocurrency, and its ability to scale effectively.

So no, they are not the same. Bitcoin cash is just a clone type of bitcoin but with upgraded consensus rules that allow it to grow and scale.

Try not to confuse yourself there is just a single bitcoin with "BTC" ticker, top 1 on coinmarketcap, That's it. Are you referring to those new projects possibly a fork claiming to be superior to bitcoin? bitcoincash would never replace bitcoin those are two different cryptocurrency.

Think of it this way, bitcoin is sending physical letters while bitcoin cash is like sending e-mail. It has a lower cost to send and can handle more transactions so its superior.  However this may not reflect in the price.
Transaction fees and speed has nothing to do with this.

EDIT: editted my statement to be more specific

Honestly, I don't get what you're trying to say but the fact is "Bitcoin is a bitcoin" and "Bitcoin cash is a bitcoin cash" no matter what happen Bitcoin cash still a clone of Bitcoin,
Bitcoin is the oldest and king of the crypto so no one could replace it no matter what happens.
