The Pump/Dump thing doesn't work it seems, indeed. You can send far higher amounts, but you need to pay a small transaction fee then. Besides this, the hashrate of the network has been consistently high and people are stacking up large amounts. The diff remains pretty low still.

High hash rate and low difficulty does not add up. Low difficulty means low hashrate. My real concern is the quality of coding in the client, that ADPTC was never going to work and was really poorly done . If you hold a lot of these coins which I guess you do I suggest that you move on to greener pastures of which there are many.

I've been working my butt of making a coin and am trying to leave nothing to chance. It will launch this weekend but I'm not going to give exact times as I do not want attackers waiting at my door. If you want I can PM you and you can come join in and stop worrying about NutCoin. The good news about what I am working on is that it does not use Scrypt or SHA-256. I think we have enough of those coins already Smiley

It makes sense when you consider the huge amount of coins that can be mined now. The network hash is consistently between 20 and 50 Mh/s which creates a solid base for it. Time will tell Smiley

Glad we got that analogy out of the way so quickly, now we can move on to people that have constructive and intelligent things to say.  Grin  Cheesy  Wink

Looks to me as though you have a vested interest in downplaying other coins in order to try to promote your own. After all, you're trying to pull from Nutcoin supporters with this post. I don't begrudge you, but I've got my eyes open and I can see the game play. It's actually pretty obvious and transparent. You seem to not like attackers, but isn't that exactly what you're doing here? Just sayin'.

I've been mining this coin on and off since near the beginning and sometime today I will have 30 million of these coins. I believe in the vision of this coin and will continue to accumulate more as time goes on. I'm a huge supporter of Nutcoin and will continue to promote it.

Do you know that Anti Pump/Dump Transaction Control is a completely ineffective, I'm guessing that slapped it in there in the hope to gain some attention before everyone realised it was not enforced by the protocol. You can just remove the controls from the code and compile, then send whatever amount you want. Limiting the amount you send in a way prevent market abuse was never going to work anyway, and the way it is coded tells me to stay away from NutCoin unless you are doing it just for fun.
