Not all specifically clones, but there is HIVE, then Steemit itself is Graphene, which started with Bitshares so there is OpenLedger and all that. There is Minds, there is the AMP one, then a few Video sites that are similar to YouTube but crypto, there is even one that operates alongside the Steemchain and is just like a layer for people to log into who like videos and they are still on the STEEM blockchain and posting to Steemit, but it is set up for videos publishing.

Then there are other ones, that aren't too big yet, but I wanted to add what I knew of and see if anyone else knew of anything.

Are you looking for the same concept as steemit?

Take a look at these two articles below this might be what you're looking for.

- 11 Alternatives To Steemit - Times Are Changing
- Top 5 Better Alternatives To Steemit To Earn Crypto Tokens

I'm suprised that there are already many steemit alternatives I already know Publish0X and they are the closest competitor of Steemit, because they have referral system I don't know about the others.
I will be looking on them, and check who among them are the best and a real alternatives for Steemit, so far Publish0X are doing great they might overcome Steemit.

I don't know how much tokens you get in publishing into these platforms but steemit is valuable, I think it rises up to $5 last 2017 and it also allows users to earn while participating in the discussions.

There is something called publish0x which seems to be cloned from steemit but i dont know whether they have their own token or they just share earning with publisher through their internal wallet. However they claim to reward publishers for writing quality articles just like steemit.

I haven't tried it yet since I have nothing to write, I'm not good in writing as well blogs too but I might if there are projects that will spark my interest to get some bounty from the project. Publish0x allows us to earn BAT so if using this platform while also using brave browser, you might double the amount of BAT you get everyday.

thats good idea to earn double income  plus he also earns two different coins because steemit also pays using thier own token while publish0x pays only on bat  .  or he can also foccus more on steemit since steemit is the original and being original means they can offer more compare to the clone sites  . instead of jumping from other site to post , why can he use those time to create a good quality of post on steemit  ? in that way he can get alot of upvotes easily  .

I think it's an article site similar to Steemit. Are you looking for such a Steemit clone?
Why do you want to search for clones when Steemit is better in my opinion.

What are the names of the steemit alternatives they have now?

There are many platforms similar to steemit, thanks to Bitmaxz for answering the question but we need more specific question like what are your purpose, to earn or more for earning.
