I have chatted with the developers of the MLB app.. apparently it is a work in progress... as you are unable to transfer out the player "tokens"
And maybe that's good that the site it down, as if you imported the player/card, they would be stuck.
But redeeming using a regular wallet would allow you to interact with it like a normal ERC-20 token
