paper is less secure, and is much easily read under x ray (how many coins with paper pk's have been send thru mail)
I'm not interested in arguing about this and I'm not accusing you of malicious intent. I gave you an honest warning based on my experience supporting the systems that run older scanners. The depth just requires more power but some of these scanners are powerful enough. Your above statement is also false. I know this because I have imaged Casascius coins to see how secure they are and you can't pick up anything. I've even tried hospital grade radiology equipment.

In the future I recommend you do not do this. You can easily pick up the engraving under the hologram with a commercial package x-ray scanner. These systems are used to scan mail contents as they cross borders, move through postal systems and enter some buildings or restricted areas. So depending on the path the package traveled there could be multiple copies of your private keys sitting in databases.
