Joojon:

It looks like you are brand new to the forum so it may be worth explaining a few of the suggestions made in this thread. Trust is an important item since there are a lot of scammers on the edges of the crypto world. This forum protects itself by building systems of trust. Escrow is one of those ways. There are a handful of great options for trust and escrow, but none better than MinerJones. You can go to the trust page and see all the times he has helped people with sales etc. MinerJones would be able to receive your items, sell them for you, handle the mailing, and send you the funding when they sell.

It's a good option for you. People will probably be sheepish buying such nice high priced coins from you without you seeking some assistance.

Also, nice coins!

nobody knows what the price of these is going to be and nobody feels like overpaying.

Maybe ship to an escrow agent like MJ and then create some form of auction?

I would be willing to buy one of the eight coins for an agreed upon price, I would only want it coming from a reshipper like MJ though.

That’s actually a solid suggestion, OP. Get them out of your hands and into MJ’s, and maybe ask him to handle the auctioning of these as a lot or individuals.

Nice coins! Just an FYI these are not the rarest Casascius collectibles, there are several Casascius coins/items that are more rare ( 25 BTC , all the bars, the Litecoin acrylic "coins", .999 Fine Gold coins etc.. for example).  To be honest, I have a very hard time believing that anyone is offering over .1 for peeled coins and there is absolutely no way anyone is offering .15-.17 for one.  Also what does a .15-.17 "range" mean.  I'm just going to be honest, I don't believe you.

Nice coins, if you don’t mind me asking, how come you peeled these coins instead of selling them unpeeled

I asked around and was told that these would be around $1,000 ea - at .1 for them that would be closer to $5,000 ea - seems a bit high.

Every-time a cas comes up I can almost feel the tension in the air as the collectors in this forum rush to get their grubby fingers on them. Good luck to future collectors, these are hard to get now (although not impossible). I can only imagine how hard they are going to be in 5 years +.

Maybe everyone who wants one can agree on a price and we can split the lot 8 ways instead of one person hoarding them.

this way each person gets one for their collection.

I personally would be willing to come to a consensus in the forum for one of the eight, please chime in if you like this idea.

I like the idea, but have absolutely no faith dealing with a newbie; in EU, nonetheless.

These have gone for as much as $2500 on eBay, but everyone agreed that was a tad outrageous. Yes, $1,000 each feels much more reasonable.

For this user's sake, I hope they accept $8,000.

Lovely coins - as you’re a newbie have a look at this thread

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5277761.20

“2. Post a picture of the item you want to sell, along with your username and date/Block height next to the item. This helps to verify you actually have the item you want to sell. If you are new to the forum, post the picture at imgur.com and provide a link or use BBCode to post.  Don't worry if your picture does not show up in the post. Someone with a rank higher than 'newbie' will likely add it to the thread in the following posts for you.”

It will definitely help your sale  Smiley
