Now that you put it like that, I wanted to add the ability for mods to have a second option to lock your suckpuppet threads but giving you the chance to open it later.
I lock this, and you can go reverse the lock to do your garbage posting.

If a moderator locked your topic, you can unlock it.
If an admin locked your topic, you can not unlock it. I only don't know a global moderator has same power like forum admins in locking a topic.
Do not mislead people
If a moderator or global mod has blocked a topic, then the author of the topic will not be able to unblock it
An admin can also block a topic, but in practice no one will even remember the last time he did this

it was nutildah that you are talking about. Unless there were more similar cases.
Do you see? I think that nutildah should be excluded from DT for such behavior. I thought nutildah was just a troll, but now I see that nutildah is also an system abuser

Just stop to reply when you're not interested with the discussions.
Not saying its the case here, but Bitcoin Discussion board is such a cespool because people are making all kinds of bullshit topics there and what's even worse, people answer to them instead reporting. So no, ignoring is not always the best course of action.

I forgot the name of the user, but it was a temporary ban, wasn't it? The user returned to the forum later after the ban but stopped posting altogether after a while. I remember the drama. He felt the thread should be where he posted it but the mod didn't agree and thought the content isn't fitting for that board. The topic was then edited a bit only to be moved back and forth again. He was warned not to do it, did it again, and got banned...

Should we let them be since they have claimed that they were hacked, do we have the right to ask a mod to lock it and ask the OP to provide evidence and then they could unlock it themselves?
If a moderator locked your topic, you can unlock it.
If an admin locked your topic, you can not unlock it. I only don't know a global moderator has same power like forum admins in locking a topic.

If it is because of an account hack, the account can be frozen because of security issue, not only a topic. The user has to prove the actual ownership to get access to the account and access to his topics.

...but you can return the topic to another board. If you continue moving topics to inappropriate boards, you may be banned, and as I remember, it happened once.

You cannot unlock that topic and you will find a warning “This topic has been locked by mod”
Everyone knows about this. Only an idiot wouldn't know about such a thing

digaran, are you trolling here? Why do you ask such stupid questions that are inappropriate for the title of Hero? You know a lot about secp256k1, but you don't know very simple things

I can't control myself seeing bitcoin sv account talking, it's like he is raping my girl in front of me, and laughing to my face. 😤😤😤
Wow. I have the same problem.
I can't control myself seeing nutildah account talking, it's like he is raping my girl in front of me, and laughing to my face. 😤😤😤

But in reality he is seeking attention by consistently sending unsolicited photoshopped pictures of him and your girl. Trolls like that got nothing on Bitcoin, they just want the attention of talking about it.
BSV is to blame everywhere you go

Someone didn't sign the Bitcoin message - it's BSV,s fault
someone made a mistake somewhere- it's BSV,s fault
etc

I'm just there to say that irreversible BTC transactions is sucks. People's balances are stolen from their wallets, and then people suffer. And the hackers are happy and unpunished.

The @OP create the thread, giving 4 TX IDs come from his wallet, and why you must force him to sign a message? after all it's his coins except the @OP gave a promise to share 10% of his coins for someone that can help him.

Just stop to reply when you're not interested with the discussions.

That's called freedom of speech, just like you harassing users who left negative feedbacks into your account.

I don't think he can truly prove the hacking itself.  Even with that signed addresses, it doesn't actually confirm a hack took place and  seems to me he might've just moved those coins into another wallet that he controls. There was no hacking, just a normal transaction.

I can't control myself seeing bitcoin sv account talking,

I understand what you mean. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do with a troll account, except report their posts as off-topic or spam, or just ignore them altogether.

If it was possible for users to unlock threads after mods lock them, it will make the whole process redundant. Mods typically lock threads that have become spam dumps and if the op was able to unlock the thread, they will just open up the spamming again.

Did you read what I said? Could you ignore such an act? Lol
You could and should.
If you don't want to, just point out the flaws in the argument and move on.

I reported it, yes. I was wondering if there is a policy regarding these issues.
If it was a phishing link, malware, or something nasty, then I would be in favor of banning the person doing it. Other than that, I don't think the forum and its administration will (or should) take the route of censoring information they don't like. If someone wants to discuss how bad Bitcoin or a piece of software is, let them do it. Point out why they are wrong and what knowledge they are missing or ignore them for your own health.

We have that maniac (fxsurfer, antikvark, whatever the name is) who returns every couple of months and creates a few threads bashing bitcoin, everyone argues with him, and then he disappears, only to come back again some day.

If moderator lock a topic, OP of the topic can not unclok the topic unless moderator unlock it again.

Is it reasonable to ask a mod to lock the thread until OP could provide evidence? Where is the red line of misinformation and deliberate spreading of lies to damage Bitcoin?
Even without any evidence, no moderator will lock the thread because of that reason. There are many lying posts that I have seen on this forum and non were locked becuase moderators also do not know if it is true or not.

Also from the thread, some people will learn from the thread as some people will explain why using cold wallet to store your coins is safer instead of hot using wallets.

I've seen a lot of false claims here. You can just ignore the user if you don't want to see them post.

If a staff member locks your thread, you can't unlock it from your end. They have to be the ones to do it. If a mod moves your thread to another location, you can move it back or move it somewhere else entirely. But that's about it. If you feel that a thread should be locked, then you can report it and explain why you think that is. Point out what rules it breaks.

Btw, where is that link he posted to avoid detection? I don't see it in his thread. Did it get deleted?
