Well, the whole (US-) "Libertarian principle" is a fad, actually, as they get history wrong again and again. Some say it was introduced on purpose by powerful corporate players. In reality, markets and money did not evolve from voluntary interactions, they were introduced by the force of kings and rulers to get the populace to support soldiers. A market economy and the concept of property rights always require a governmental structure to enforce contracts and protection, and historically, whenever there was no state, the Bourgeoisie created one for themselves to protect their interests. Originally, anarchism (rooted in Europe) was also anti-capitalistic, with the idea of largely self-sustaining (decentralized) communities and supportive, solidary, federative exchange of resources between them.
