The bicoins were already held in escrow. You can't post an inquiry in the site without depositing some bitcoins to give as a reward.

Yes some questions do take long to close. Often it's because the questioner doesn't get what he asks for and many answers posted from members are irrelevant or wrong.

This thread is now closed.

The correct answer has been given.

RIP Mommy
Seems like most are ignoring or not going for the lowest priced (eBay) URLs on each respective post, even if they ship to the regions they're in.

Get your game girl
Sounds completely stupid to me.I have answered a few questions on this website before but never actually got paid neither the question gets closed ever.It take ages for the question to get closed.I think the question posters should first held their funds in the escrow.Because in this case less than 66 pounds could be 65 pounds as well so the one who gets the shoe for 65 pounds should get the reward but no Op won't give the reward until someone comes up with a shoe price which is as low as 10 pounds after 5 years.Smh..

There have been a couple other threads like this recently and the bounties are never paid. I suggest everyone wait til the prize is escrowed(even though its less than .005) just to be safe
No need for that, the prize is escrowed in bitfortip and all you have to do is go there and post the answer Wink
But i guess we are too late for it now Roll Eyes
Too many people guessed it already Tongue

The majority of the rewards have been given.

For the inquires that are opened for so long, I have sent emails to the owners to check if there is an answer that might be correct for them but unfortunately they are not responding back to me. So their btc reward remain in escrow indefinitely.

I did but I think someone had already read my answer here and replied the info I provided, too bad.

Yes, i can see. I will contact stanius21 to inform him, if he chooses poepgat. I will send you a pm to give me your btc address to reward you also.

I wont post here about a new inquiry to avoid this from happening again.

I have also found so many sites which are giving like this bounty for something which they want but they always give some excuses even when it is completed.

Will it really get the reward, or will it join the other posts in never having to actually pay out to anyone before the heat death of the universe?

Depends how tight the guy who offered the bounty is. I think he will have to 'accept' the answer to released funds and he might just refuse to do it. I think forum escrows are best used for this sort of stuff.
