Yes, the site only can make money when people donate to get their reflink. But, what happen when all the ref people only join and not donate ? They still have to pay the first person but they not get income from new people join

Of course for every site that want make many people join it, they will pay at the beginning they started but it not the proof they not scam until a few days or weeks after the first payment.

 It would be stupid strategy for those who started it. This kind of services are designed to run for a long time.  The typical snowball effect - as more people are getting involved they start to advertise the pyramid more and more effectively. It must be safe  for a while.  The first pyramidstarted on this forum is alive for several years now - I'm actually receive several bucks per month.  I don't see any reason why those russians who started it will kill the goose that lays the golden egg anytime soon.

It seems legit to me.  I received my first payment today!  I just joined in,  it's not my creation. You risk your money and have a chance to gain like ten or hundred times more if you promote it.  This is pyramid, ponzi, I think it's some sort of the game. Just don't risk something you can't afford to lose. The last time I participated in the very same pyramid (the first one) - I've made more than 2 BTC with 0.25 deposit only. And I've joinde just several weeks after the launch.

 P.S: I think this is the way to get people informed about bitcoin and show them that bitcoin is not any kind of pyramid itself!
