If I create a watch only wallet with those two addresses in electrum 3.0.2 it displays fine:

Any update, have you sorted out the problem by reinstalling/ importing from seed? Were you using the latest Electrum version when you did the transaction?

I have been faced with such issue before and its not only on Electrum but also sometimes on blockchain.info where you send an amount and you just see another ridiculous amount showing as going to another wallet that is not even part of where you send the coins to the moment you verify on blockchain. In my experience, I was always skeptical to know what's going on but when I check my balance and see that the amount is reading what should be there and the ridiculous amount could sometimes more than my entire balance, I just conclude that its a dummy movement.

I am still open to learn what really caused that to happen though.

I doubt it's a "lose money" kind of bug... More likely it is just a "display" bug. All the coins and transactions exist on the blockchain. That is the "true" record. What your wallet is displaying is really just a filter and can be wrong.

If in doubt, trust the blockchain. It is, for all intents and purposes, immutable.

You guys are NOT reading the OP correctly... it isn't anything to do with "change"... he is wanting to know why his transaction which sent ~0.01 BTC (and had 0.058 change) is showing as -0.08

So the math doesn't add up properly:
0.01048515 sent + 0.05854722 change + 0.00030263 fee = 0.069335 TOTAL... but the wallet shows -0.08012278... In any case, it should ONLY be showing 0.01048515 sent + 0.00030263 fee = -0.01078778

Interestingly, if we take 0.069335 and ADD another 0.01048515 (sent amount) + 0.00030263 (fee amount)... we get the 0.08012278 BTC showing as being deducted! So, it seems that Electrum has calculated something screwy and is showing as (2x sent amount + 2x fee + 1x change amount) has been deducted from the wallet??!? Huh

Like I said... I'd recommend the OP restore a new copy of the wallet from seed and see if it fixes it...

I experienced this in electrum you can go to the electrum tab addresses you can see list of your bitcoin addresses scroll down and you can see change just drop the list by clicking + and look for 1GMPriLb9foLuPgRWX7TTjzSkM6g5cpnj1
And right click choose send from and you can send it back to your bitcoin address.."basically its just like you wanted to send 35 cents, but only had 1 Dollar in your pocket. So the 0.65 cents was the leftover amount and the client created a new address to hold it rather than reusing your bitcoin address."

Hello.
first of all ty very much for your response. if you take a look at the first picture you can see on top of the picture that -0.08 BTC have been subtracted from my account. so 0.07 too much was been substracted from my account altough the blockchain says that only 0.01 have been send. do you know why?
Man... that is some weird stuff there... not sure why it thinks 0.08 was taken when:

1. The transaction only has a TOTAL input of 0.069335 BTC
2. 0.05854722 BTC went into a change address

Must be some weird little Electrum glitch. Have you tried closing and re-opening Electrum?

What happens if you restore a new wallet with the same seed?

Electrum uses change addresses by default. That means, it always sends all Bitcoin of an address, one to the recipient, the other part to a new address of which you hold the private key.

TryNinja told you what to do:

That's probably your change address. Copy the second address, go to Electrum's console and type: ismine('YOUR ADDRESS')

If this returns true, you have control over the address and these coins are still in your wallet.
