Things that I like the most about 0.15.0.1

- synchronization time when starting a node from zero is a LOT quicker
- the calculation of fees is much efficient than 0.14
- it bans connections to segwit2x nodes
- and of course, it doesnt hangs when using the graphic user interface in windows Smiley

update and see for yourself

0.15 is faster confirmed.

It is insanely faster, it's great, I can confirm too. But not only it is faster and gives you the possibility of segwit transactions if you are smart with the command console, but it also helps protect the network against the up and coming segwit2x hardfork attack. Everyone that cares about their investment should be downloading Bitcoin Core 0.15.0.1 immediately and running as much nodes as possible.

I see my node is connected to some 15.0.1 nodes anyway.

Of course, the new version is compatible with other versions, so there are connections between different versions of bitcoin core.
However, if you want to profit from bugfixes and new features, I recommend upgrading.

0.15.0.1 has significant performance improvements over 0.14.2. It introduces several new optimizations and features that makes it perform faster, estimate fees better, support multiple wallets (in RPCs only), etc. Read the release notes for the full explanation and list of changes.

Im running a full node on 14.2.  61 connections at the moment. Now what is the advantage or dis advantage of not upgrading to the new 15.0.1? I see my node is connected to some 15.0.1 nodes anyway. Also to a few 9.3 and 9.99 but mostly 14.2s. I also see some threads saying its hanging up on wallets and sends. Thanks
