I would do the loan based on the scale and if you would pay shipping to and from the usa. Assuming the scale is worth it
It is up to you to decide if the scale is valuable enough to cover the loan. All collateral should be held by a trusted third party. Also I would find it hard to believe that it would make sense to pay for shipping to and from the US for a $70 loan
