I am sure next year will be the year of Exchange war, centralized vs decentralized.

0x is the protocol for atomic swaps of ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum network. It can't fill in the vacuum left by Chinese exchanges as it can't do crypto <-> fiat or blockchain <-> blockchain swaps. Don't get me wrong I like the project and I have also invested in it. But it has different usecases than you suggest. Moreover, not all Chinese exchanges were banned: Huobi and OKCoin were given approval, but they have to stop cny <-> crypto trading.

It's not, 0x is a protocol that others exchange can build with, like EthFinex.
I do think projects enabling decentralized trading are very likely to gain in valuation if their product is good. In the case of 0x, the more successful platforms building on your protocol you have, the more it will drive the price of the token up given its use for the fees.

thats why coinbase and bitfinex supporting 0x project team.
Lots of Exchanges are closing in China, I think 0x will be benefit from this as it can provide Chinese a decentralized way to trade their coins.
