Yep the Crimson driver was only meant for RX5xx series cards and above. Not R series.

HashRate with Crimson driver is around 22.8-23 MH/S.

would 16.9.2 give a better result ?

Update those card driver manually. Choose "Browse my computer for driver software" then Choose "Let me pick from a list available drivers on my computer" Choose "Have Disk..."  Click browse, (If you are using Blockchain Driver on Win 10) Point it to C:\AMD\Win10-64Bit-Crimson-ReLive-Beta-Blockchain-Workloads-Aug23\Packages\Drivers\Display\WT6A_INF\....You will find Setup Information file, chose it then let the system update your card driver.

Based on my experience, R9 series better using 16.9.2 series.

My opinion is the same as Mr. Geraldo; other options can you tried in "device manager".
1. right click on "Microsoft basic adapter" and "update software driver".
2. "Explore my computer for driver software".

For the next step, do the same as Mr. Geraldo said.
