That's an absurdly large fund and even if they invested about 1% in to crypto that would make a big difference in the market. It can also act as a signal to other funds that they should be considering investing in to cryptocurrency.
However by the sounds of it is sounds more as if they are looking to invest in to companies that manufacture mining equipment.
