Thank you everyone Smiley

Don't worry having my account hacked was the least of my worries on the bitcoin journey... Lol Cry

Does anyone have any thoughts on pricing at all, or would you recommend auction?

Thank you for the help

Most of the time I auction Cas coins with a starting value of face (in this case 1 btc).  Little scary at first, but you get the market price.  I would guess this coin would go from 1.25-1.35.

If you want to auction take a look at how the succesful ones have been run and use one of their formats.

The Stone the masons rejected was the cornerstone.
Price of Casascius coins are hard to pin down as so many variables are involved...such as market demand...quality..price of BTC..etc.

You can always have an auction with a minimum bid of what you expect it to fetch or just start at 1 BTC and see what the market will bring as far as price goes. Goodluck!

These were the first ever physical incarnations of bitcoin in COIN FORM...to me they are very special indeed

Just looking for peace
Though the casascius 2011 error is not very common but being one of the very first coin, they were always in little rough shape. The one in picture seems to be really good though. The old ratings of ANACS were bad and a MS64 probably means a 67 or above

good luck with the sale Smiley

Looking at this coin compared to other... I think the MS64 is justified...

In fact, ANACS grades many Cas. coin in error giving them an "MS" grade when they have clearly been handled and deserve an "AU" grade!!!

ah my bad! am certainly not the person to say about ANACS grading.

Was just comparing it to my MS64 error Smiley

Looking at photos, the grade looks reasonable, maybe you get a 65 on a resubmit.

Nice coin OP, sorry about your hacked account.  You would think we could have optional 2FA on log in by now given the value of some of our accounts but no...

Hi Smiley

Gauging interest on the price for this.

Would anyone be interested and if so what would be the going rate given I cannot find any currently for sale.

I have had it sealed in an airtight / sealed bag since purchase in a fireproof safe.

Just opened this to take photographs.

Excuse the account, my main one was hacked quite some time ago which I never got back even after multiple requests.....

This is the purchase thread:
