There now a 1 year RECORD Bitcoin outflow from exchanges going on: With Record outflow just now someone is buying up like never before :
It is a manipulative and misleading indicator. Use it with your own awareness about what it is, and the bias it can distort your thoughts.

Outflow can come from
  • New bought bitcoin was withdrawn from exchange wallets to personal wallets (should be cold wallets)
  • Old bitcoin was withdrawn from exchanges. By old bitcoin, I meant about bitcoin was bought long time ago (months or years) and was withdrawn out of exchanges recently (just to bias the thoughts of people)

Record outflow continuing Wink https://cryptoquant.com/overview/full/112?window=day

Looks like its time to buy Wink

Just a sign that investors are just buying BTC and then put it in their wallet that they have total control of. They don't want in exchanges as they are not going to trade buy hold bitcoin for many years.

As to who is buying, it's obvious, retail investors, average joes, anyone that has capital and willing to risk in BTC because they know that it can be an hedge, store of value. And in the next coming months, we might see it hitting 6 digits.

I'm not sure that the outflow of BTC can be interpreted so easily as someone buying lots of BTC. It simply means that people took a lot of bitcoins from exchanges, right? So they had some BTC and decided to stop trading and instead transfer their coins to their own wallets for hodling, and this scenario would also show Bitcoin outflow, correct? And we cannot know whether it's a big institutional investor or just a bunch of small ones either because it's just the total amount of Bitcoins which people decided to withdraw from exchanges if I understand correctly. Moreover, it could even be a big exchange withdrawing some money of their users to a cold wallet. I think there isn't enough information to jump to the conclusion that you're suggesting.
