My favourite in privacy coins is monero because Its features are amazing.

Quote
Enforced privacy
Monero uses enforced privacy by default for all transactions so that no user can accidentally or deliberately be traceable or insecure. Unlike public-by-default mechanisms, this ensures users cannot be scrutinised or penalised by outside actors for using private transactions, leading to non-use of privacy features and therefore loss of privacy altogether.
Quote
Stealth (one-time) Addresses
Monero requires senders to cryptographically generate a one-time address using the receiver's public address. Although all transactions to a given public address end up in the same central cryptocurrency wallet, an outside party can never know whether two transactions have been sent to the same public address.

I'm also holding some thousands pieces of veil coin but price have decline a lot, I bought at 0.034$ and now price is at 0.01$, I'm already at loss but not until I sell though, I intend to hold for a very long time, Monero is the best on my list, followed by Sero protocol
its still unliquidate loss, so its value still have possibility to recovery when cryptocurrency market recovered. privacy coin at this moment and in future still have high potency , moreover hype in privacy coin in tune again after community know about GHOST  coins which is launched by john mc afee. it give positive impact to privacy coin

The only old privacy coin I have in my portfolio is Monero, I'm more into new privacy coins like
1. Deeponion
2. Apollo
3. Veil project

There are too many privacy coins in crypto space and it doesn't make sense having too many in your wallet

I used to hold VEIL coin as well but ever since that zero coin vulnerability VEIL is in constant decline but right now they are working on a new feature if they successfully bring that to market then we can again start moving up.

I though ultranote is dead? I mined some when it was launched years ago, I even abandoned the wallet but I still have my recovery seed, glad to see that development is still on

In my opinion Dash, Verge and Monero are the best privacy coin in the market. According to market capitalisation they are also ranked higher than all othe Privacy coin.

I think out of the lot these three are the ones that are being adopted and have a real use case. Others are already losing the race.

Grin looks very good, this is a new project, in my opinion they appeared in early 2019,
Grin seems to be a good one for privacy, as far as I know grin uses Mimblewimble protocol which cut the tx details and help users to hide their tx details and be untraceable. However, I have not used Grin yet. So far, to me Monero is the best one.

These are new privacy coins, especially SERO and I think that I prefer to still deal with the old and existing ones like MONERO, and I think that when it comes to the king of privacy coins, I would still give it to MONERO, any day and any time. Most of these new coins only promise things that they cannot easily achieve and they come with the promises of having a better technology, meanwhile they have none.

I am tired of listening to any of these newer projects and moreover, there is still nothing wrong with the already existing ones, you cannot use more than one privacy coin at a time, so I just see other ones as just duplication off technology which to me, it is really not a very necessary one at this point that we still have very low adoption rate of crypto in general.

Good thing this is in altcoin section.
For bitcoin is still number 1 of them all.

I have not used XMR yet but someone told me the fees are cheaper and also if converted to your own countries currency.
Might try it later on.
I havent accumulated any but it is cheap so I guess I could just buy some for trial.

You chose the oldest privacy coins. But what about some new? Like Grin or Beam? I think that these 2 have a better chance to earn you money than Verge or Pivx.  Wink
I personally like Pivx but not Verge. We have difference when it's about the top privacy coins.  Monero will never get out of this list and it has remained as the top privacy coin.

With a decent number of Pivx, you can earn through its staking. I also like dash if I just have enough spare money to invest but now I'll stay holding my bitcoin holdings and wait until it goes up and will prolly invest to these preferred privacy coins.

Grin I think is even a superior privacy coin than some of the few mentioned in their lists, there are old ones they forgot like the Cloak and the XSPECS. But what do you expect the author is probably holding some of the coins in the list and so he shills. Its pretty common to do so when you want the coin to rise up because you hold a bag of it.  If I got some SERO I would have done the same.

We need to let each project proves who will be the best privacy coins in 2019, but with the bitcoin price still not stable, I think that will be too hard for them to give the proves. We have a different opinion on what is the advantage of each coin, so maybe we need to wait for a while in this year, and if each project can survive in the hard situations, then we will see who will be in the first level of privacy coins. I still prefer with xmr, zec but I don't close my eyes for grin and beam as they are a newcomer in the cryptocurrency that can grow too.

It seems you just mentioned the oldest Privacy coins and neglected the newer ones, there are two new ones that are doing good right now, their names are Sero and Veil and they are doing so good at the moment.
Can you tell us what the sero and veil coins have done so they can be said to be the best at the moment? because if you speak the best it is not seen from a long time or a coin but is seen from what they have achieved and from what they have done.

And that will be much better for you to try to use what already developed by sero and veil, i used veil and that's a good altcoin so far with some method of encryption to secure our privacy.
we can use it to get the reward and fair distribution too used POS/POW

It's funny how there is all so much competition between which coin to use for "Privacy", when a LOT of coins has privacy, yet so many other features.

Monero, Zcash, and others are all about privacy. I get that, it's a niche market, and it has it's place, BUT I believe they'll be irrelavant moving forward as more and more coins enables privacy features ON TOP of existent tech.

Take a look at Stakenet for instance. A project sitting on a marketcap of just $10 mio, yet is building the infrastructure of a full blown eco-system running on masternodes. These masternodes will host a wide variety of DApps and services, such as their Lightning DEX, Their Multi Currency Lightning Wallet, and Private transactions is just a small part of it all.

So to compare Stakenet with Monero, you've got Monero which is private, but Stakenet who:

Can scale with unlimited transactions/second
Lightning Network Compatible
Trustless Proof Of Stake
Masternodes
Masternodes As A Service
Pooled Staking Service
Masternode Monitoring Service
Cross Chain Proof Of Stake
Private Transactions

And much much more..
So the BEST privacy coin? It depends how you decide to look at it, in this case Stakenet>Monero based on utility features.

New fresh players have appeared on the market today and they also work with anonymity. To begin with, we will look at VEIL a great project and a huge potontsial.  If you want to make profit from anonymous coins in the future, buy coins of new projects there is a chance that they will grow to Monero.

I really think that XMR (https://www.crypto-rating.com/crypto-currencies/xmr/) is a long-term hold. Privacy coins had their time in the sun, but they’ve become irrelevant since no one cares if you can hide your money. Everyone is focused on projects that are partnering with banks, not shunning them. Of course, there’s always a place for black market money, but investors aren’t going to park it in Monero. This is why the current valuation is either right where it should be or too high. Until privacy coins can see actual use, then there’s no reason to rush towards projects like XMR.
You got a point there, there is a lot of focus on Bank related projects by investors but not crypto enthousiasts. There is a difference, because investors just want to make a quick buck by investing on interesting projects,on the other side crypto enthousiasts are here for the technology and the privacy it offers, not necessary for black market money. This category of people just value their privacy a lot, therefore Privacy coins get enough attention and this latter is growing everyday because more and more of people are realizing that their privacy is constantly breached in the traditional system.

There are many cryptocurrencies like Ethereum and Bitcoin that leave your transaction details flapping in the breeze. That is, anyone can look up your wallet address and can easily track your transactions and payment history. Nowadays, people want to protect their privacy online, especially when it is related to financial things. And, privacy coins are one such form of cryptocurrency that protects the user’s identity. Moreover, all privacy coins are a great source for tax avoidance because authorities cannot see how much money you’re storing or where you’re storing it. Privacy coins like Monero are already transacting millions of dollars online – and this trend is expected to continue.

What Exactly Is The Privacy Coin?

It is a cryptocurrency that hides data about its users, basically, the identity of the user along with the amount of cryptocurrency traded and held in wallets.

So, here are the top 10 Privacy Coins in 2019:

Monero (XMR)
Monero is the most popular in the privacy coins list. It gives owners the power to have complete control over their data and their anonymity. This completely untraceable privacy coin has a really strong brand and a better marketing team compared to other privacy coins. It deploys unique technology with an ability to make it transparent if you want optionally.

Zcash (ZEC)

Though not so popular, Zcash is a strong contender for one of the best privacy coins 2019. A relatively untested and new to the industry, it uses a unique system called zk-snark. If ethics and the murky reputation of privacy coins are what you are looking for, then Zcash is a good option.
