After a long contribution to maintaining good health let me drop this .

It is very important to balance your job time and resting time, the body is not a machine ,it needs rest ,even a machine gets tired.
•Avoid overthinking, thinking kills faster than stress.
•Stop or reduce some harmful habits you cant do without, excess consumption of alcohol ,smoking, constant  overfeeding, Addiction to pornography, masturbation stop or limit it.
•Avoid totally or limit excess use of drug substances .
•Avoid holding farts or urine for the long it harmful to the body .
•Avoiding dipping your hand in your mouth without wash or using to teeth to cut your nails .
•Avoid using your teeth as crown cock cover opener.
•Watch your hands before and after touchin your private parts.
It is easy to say avoid overthinking but its very hard, also it is easy to say exercise but it's real real hard thing to do with consistency.
But I think one should practice doing it. Try hard if you have trouble with it. And everything will be okie.

Walk more and exercise is what some persons find difficult as a means to maintain good health, which makes the body muscle to be flexible and the blood vessels to be active. It's good to maintain ones health to avoid breakdown when it is unexpected , staying away from much amount of alcohol will also maintain the health.
Oh yes - that is so important. Walk and exercise are one of the bestest ways to maintain health. But it requires consistency.
There is 21/90 days rule formula - twenty one days to make habit and 90 days to make a life style. I think 90 days like 3 months are good to change once life style.

In addition to the OP healthy tips. I believe avoiding much processed foods and carbonated drinks would do one a lot good in terms of having a good health. Eating more of natural than processed products is one thing today's world has gradually deviated from.
As said in OP to limit alcohol - in our religion we are forbidden to drink alcohol and majority of people in our society refrain from drinking alcohol. Because it takes your wisdom away and it hurts your organs too. Likewise we are forbidden to gambol. because you become very impulsive and loose your whole wealth and get nothing in return. Whatever excites you should be done with care. Thats what our values taught us.

Maintaining good health does not only have do with good foods but it also keeping the environment very clean , when the environment is kept untidy it can also contribute to breakdown of the health.  A environment that is not healthy can host bacteria and germs which can fight the health of humans

maintaining a healthy lifestyle in terms of food is very difficult for me these days. because of the work factor where I don't have time to look for ingredients and cook. I eat more instant food for now.

but I still exercise once a week. because exercise is so important in my opinion for health.

even if regular exercise every day can help prevent heart disease and stroke, because exercise will strengthen the heart muscle, lower blood pressure, increase levels of good cholesterol high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and lower levels of bad cholesterol low-density lipoprotein (LDL).

As long as you live a healthy lifestyle, where you eat natural food and foods and no preservative foods and preservative drinks as well,
I think you will stay healthy 100%, because you live a healthy lifestyle together with a good nature in your surroundings is an advantage
as well.

Somewhat true, but you still need to keep in mind that health is not just the result of a healthy life, but also the genetics we inherit from our parents. This inheritance sometimes means that regardless of a healthy life, you can get a serious illness.

Of course, this risk is incomparably higher if you smoke, drink a lot of alcohol, eat fast food and drink various beverages such as CC and the like. Unfortunately, most of today's population cannot afford healthy food, clean water and air - that is the price we pay for technological progress.

In my views:
There is a need to develop 10 habits for good health:

1. Take proper exercise daily and adopt the suitable type of exercise according to your age.
2. Make your habit to rise early in the morning because habit is second nature.
3. Take proper time to sleep at night because the night is the best time for rest and remember God has created night for rest.
4. Eat the meal on time, It means do not eat over and over again. It disturbs your digestive apparatus.
5. It is a popular saying" Eat less food to avoid diseases".
6. It the best for your health to eat 2 times a day. which can properly dissolve in your body.
7. Take a bath daily. In hot season or hot countries, It may be more than 1 Time.
8. Do eat food in hurriedness. It should be eaten after proper investigation & chew before going into the intestine.
9. Alway drink water after proper seating and in three sips.
10. Avoid too many cold drinks, soft drinks, ice cream, etc but use fruit juices & milk.

I'd want to write up the same thing you wrote pal, totally true.
As well avoid smoking, less thinking, don't get yourself stressed, drinking a lot of water, avoiding red meat, taking more fish than meat.
Do what makes you happy, stay around positive energy, when having issues discuss with a good friend, recently wash your hands every now and then, wearing nose masks, and staying away from crowded area's.
Thank you.

In youth age, there is energy and force and stamina  But as you go to old age, It is necessary for you to take excise daily to main you. Daily walk jogging, right sleeping, rising, proper rest, good and balanced diet, etc. is also very important. you have to be active to keep yourself in good health.

Everyone is talking about nutrition, can’t disagree its very important but why no one mentioned exercise. Doing some sports and cardio is very important in keeping healthy.
In addition nutritional intake, exercise is also very good for strengthening the immune system and our body's health...

but don't do heavy exercise every day because it can make bones and joints brittle when we are old. light exercise a few times a week is enough to make the body healthier.

There are a lot of things one can do to live a healthy lifestyle just like the way the OP has contributed his own view on how to leave and maintain an healthy life. Like eating vegetables, fruits and other valuable source of balance diet in the right proportion can help, also engaging in exercises that helps to burn down calories in the body. Most people have abandoned this aspect maybe cause of pains involved but it's one of the vital aspects of maintaining a good health

No alcohol, no drugs and possibly no smoking. But that is actually impossible for almost anyone to do. The next question then is how much alcohol is acceptable for the human body to not get into trouble with it? it probably varies from person to person. Oh yeah and also try not to lose a lot with gambling  Cheesy

Living a healthy life is not easy at all, especially if you live in a big city that carries very polluted air, where healthy food is expensive and difficult to access, where the culture of eating unhealthy fast food is at a high level. Only those who live far from pollution, have access to clean air, water and land can create the conditions for a healthy life for themselves.

I try to lead a healthy life, grow my own fruits and vegetables, have access to clean water, do not smoke and avoid smoky areas, do not use any medications, use only natural cosmetics, move a lot - but again I think I am still far from a healthy life I really wanted.

I think that although the food we shove inside out body do make a difference, true health comes from how we burn that food and energy and also what's our mental state is at. If we are mentally happy, things in life are set and going well, and we are free from depression, we can still remain healthy even if we snatch some unhealthy foods from here and there Grin

A healthy way of life is something good and must be done by every human being.

@Jet Cash, is the person who understands the most about 'healthy living'. He is 70 years old, but he can still eat betel nut with his teeth, the key has been stated on the first page, smoking, alcohol, must be avoided.
I love the way @Jet Cash lives a healthy life.

Yes, it's true that natural foods are also a major factor for consumption, rather than fast food.

As far as "natural foods" are concerned, I think you are referring to the foods that are farm grown and organic and not really processed like you see in the supermarkets. Right? That is one of the main complaints of the common folk when it comes to nutrition is that the organics like the fruits and the veggies are very expensive and one must go to great lengths to get those kinds of ideal foods. City folk do not have the luxury of getting stuff directly from farms and only the rich and the middle class can afford such important things. But still I am hoping for a time that green veggies and fruits would be very affordable and pesticide free stuff be available to the masses.

alot of people think 'natural eating' is a confusion of 3 paths

1. herbal remedy/supplements
2. veganism/organic
3. fresh not frozen

the reality is simple. not ready-meals that come in a container with an extended lifespan
(processed and many additives)

frozen veg is fine. infact it locks in more nutrients. just heat it and eat it before you give it freezer burn(crystalize after too long in the freezer)

fluids. yes water is purer than soda or caffeine so have adequate supply of fresh water. but dont over do it. your bladder and kidneys can only cope with soo much.
an average person urinates 1pint/halflitre per full bladder. so if your drinking far more then you are excreting you are going to retain fluids which stresses your heart and arteries.
yes too much fluids can cause high blood pressure

its better to have half a pint(a glass) per hour over 8 hours. than to consume 2litres in just the evening
alcoholism can damage the liver but consuming 2 pints an hour of any fluid can damage your heart/arteries over time whether its alcoholic or not.

in essence its about balance
a meat and 2 veg diet has all the basic needs.

going vegan has its drawbacks it requires you to supplement your meals with certain things. so if your going vegan purely because you heard its a great diet on instagram..think again
make sure you know what nutrients each veg contains and do some calculations to get the right proportions. yes it might limit your meal choices and become more laborious.
but dont just think tofu and 2 veg is enough due to some instagram influencers say so

By that, does that include those immunization shots administered to the young ones/ babies?

Babies don't have immune systems, so vaccinating them whilst they have immature immune system, just screws them up for life, and locks them into the pharma world of health slavery.

babies do have immune systems..
the thing is its a fresh immune system that has not fought anything yet. so is at day 1.
if you are/were a parent that put a baby amongst kids with viruses to 'teach them the hard way' .. then you are a neglectful and nasty parent

its way better to teach the immune system in safe ways. by exposing them to pathogen identifiers. or gain immunity cells from breast milk... without having the replicating damaging pathogen introduced to the baby..

remember before vaccines. the child death rate from 'natural exposure' was so high that parents had to have 4-5 kids because they knew 1-3 may die die to illnesses.
adults would also die early. with an average life expectancy of 50 before modern medicine

vaccines help the immune system learn how to fight things. to then be ready for battle against the real pathogens.
your weirdly neglectful method is like offering a army recruitment office.. but not putting recruits through any training. just making them land on the battle field unprepared.

an untrained army is an army that would lose

i do hope in your working life you never worked in any recruitment role
as it seems you dont believe in training in a safe environment

To be honest, many of us are struggling with having a good healthy lifestyle and I am doing my best to be able to do the exercises and then do the strategies to keep yourself healthy. The eating all natural part is a bit difficult yet as organic fruits and vegetables are very expensive where I am at. Nowadays, most options to stay healthy can only be found on areas with a high population of middle class, and the facilities and amenities are a bit pricey. It is really a challenge to be healthy unless of course we live in a rural area where nature has least polluted air, clean fresh water, and fresh and cheap fruits and veggies.

The best thing for being healthy is Excercise. Excercise is very useful for our health. And also eating fresh vegetables and fruits is good for health. Getting up early in the morning is good habit and also good for health. Go for walking in the morning, eating fresh breakfast.

I used to drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes when I was young. When my youth passed, I decided to lead a healthy lifestyle. I stopped drinking alcohol, I stopped smoking. Now I am advised to quit drinking coffee. Tomorrow they will tell me to forget about sex ... Why do I need such a healthy lifestyle? I probably agree with alcohol and smoking, but not with the rest.

Living a healthy life isn’t easy but as one that wants to live a good life it’s important we take safety and precautions of the things we eat and the environment we expose ourselves to.

Literally you can because it is up to our own discipline in life. If we strive to live with a healthier body we could do anything that can make our health improved a lot just like on foods that we need to avoid junks and take up more on vegetable and fruits and focus on a well balance meal. Additional exercises too would be a big factor that plays with a good health condition since it can improve body physiques and can reduce risk for heart problems.

Lifestyle, Nutrition, Discipline were the most deemed important factors on maintaining good health status. They directly affect each other for one to successfully maintain the body in good condition. If you had a poor lifestyle despite eating healthy foods and with good discipline you can't achieve an optimal health status likewise if you are not properly eating balanced diet and not too disciplined.

As a result of the ever growing technology and increasing population in all parts of the world it’s now difficult to live a healthy life. Also as a result of mass productions to provide for the over populated countries companies are working tirelessly and these activities has negative effects on the environment as many toxic substances are released into the environment both in water bodies and the atmosphere.

Man trying to live a healthy life will still inhale the toxic substance that has been released to the environment and these will definitely complicate healthy living. Now we barely eat fresh food as many of our food are processed and preserved with chemicals.

Have you noticed that healthy foods are delicious? It is that easy.

Bone marrow, steak, liver, oysters, clams, bacon, cheese, fish brain and eyes, soft bones, cartillage, butter, organ meats, sardines, fish fats, olives/oil, pili nuts, tea, matcha, coffee, milk kefir/yogurt, meats in general..etc...etc.
actually, the problem is not about the taste, they want practicality and and fast. because they lazy to make some healthy food, too much time to make that, better to take some fast food,or delivery order when they are home. And they forget what a bad things to come if eat up junk food to much.

Human body is like a machine, and for a machine to maintain, you gotta make it work not too much neither not too less.

But one thing that really causes so many problems, not just health but other problems as well is our tongue.

To satisfy the needs of tongue, we eat the foods which are unhealthy but are tasty and spicy. Tongue is a very selfish thing. It only caters to his own needs. It doesn't care what happens to rest of the body. Only cares about its pleasure.

The person who has got no taste buds will automatically live a long healthy life because he will eat healthy food instead of junks which are just tasty. That doesn't mean cut your tongue off. Just have limits on your tongue. Control tongue, don't let tongue control you!

The summary of the 10 habits is on
1what we eat
2 monitoring our daily activities
3 preventing infection through washing of hands
we might need to adjust on it base on our environment ( rural and urban dwellers). Rural dwellers are likely to keep to all the advice but very difficult to urban dweller, however, we both need the health to stay alive.

I always teach my children to be diligent in washing their hands before entering the house and before going to bed so that their health is maintained, especially during this outbreak. also always reminded my husband not to drink alcohol because it is not good for his heart health.

Of all the classes of food, vitamin's and minerals are the most important. They provide the needed suppliments for the well for a functional body or well being. Not saying others like protein and carbohydrates are just secondary, they surely are important but, when it comes to issues of well being or maintenance of health, these two (Vitamins and mineral) based food suppliments dose a good job at that. These are common in fruits and vegetables which are only eaten by a few as they are basically focused on proteins and carbohydrates based food suppliments as they tend to quench hunger in one seating.
In this fast changing world all those fruits and vegetables are turning into slow poison, so we can't consider them as healthy since most of them are produced in the hybrid way for faster and better yield which changes the genetics of the fruits in the first place. So if we want to live healthy life then we need to have a backyard garden to grow everything we wanted.

Don't allow yourself to be vaccinated. This damages your immune system, and the adjuvants that vaccines need as alternatives to the natural processes are often harmful to various body organs.

By that, does that include those immunization shots administered to the young ones/ babies?

Excessive hand washing is not good for you, don't forget that your skin and the defensive bacteria on the surface are one of your first lines of defence against viruses and infection. It should be sufficient just to wash after you believe you may have been exposed to harmful bacteria and chemicals.

Smoking, vaping and excessive alcohol are all bad for you, and lead to long term organ damage. So does drinking cheap alcohol, even in moderation.

Walking is good for you of course, and try to speed up your metabolic rate by walking faster as well as longer. Take the stairs as well whenever you have the chance.

Keep hydrated by drinking water regularly. I believe that coffee in moderation is good for you, but it is dehydrating. This is why many espresso drinkers have a glass of water next to them.

Natural vitamin "D" is essential for your immune system, so make sure you get adequate sunlight to build natural vitamin "D". It is needed to convert immature memory "T" cells into the mature "T" cells that build antibodies. This is why a government that wants to exaggerate the morbidity of the Corona virus is insisting that people stay indoors and out of the sunshine.

Don't allow yourself to be vaccinated. This damages your immune system, and the adjuvants that vaccines need as alternatives to the natural processes are often harmful to various body organs.

Do some research into seed oils like margarine and corn oil. The manufacturing processes are similar to the production of gasoline, and they don not create a healthy product. Olive oil, coconut oil and butter are far healthier options.

Cut out refined sugars and chemical substitutes, they are one of the causes of morbid obesity. I'm sorry, but that includes coke and energy drinks.

Avoid all recreational and pharmaceutical drugs. Especially those that reduce the "symptoms" that indicate that your body is fighting an infection by natural processes that have been working for thousands of years.

I was searching for how to live a healthy life and I stumbled on this article below.

I think it really covers all we need to stay healthy while we age gracefully.

Meanwhile, Number 1 says: Build your plate around healthy choices. This is slamming everything thing to our face really. You live a healthy live with natural foods, you enjoy your health in old age as simple as that. Grin

And number 7: Wash your hands.
Just like keeping a good hygiene huh.... and avoid contacting bacteria, virus etc to your system.

Also , to limit alcohol and help your internal organs.

That's a healthy link for our benefit I think so. Read full details here

https://www.populytics.com/blog/10-habits-maintain-good-health/

Stay natural , live moderately. Enjoy the week all.

Once you start treating a healthy lifestyle as normal I think it becomes a lot easier. When I was a little younger, I would dread thinking of eating healthy but over time I've seen it as part of my daily life and now I don't think twice about it. I also feel a lot better in general!

when it comes to bacon. that is fullof salts.
the preservatives used to keep meat 'fresh' is the carcenagenic stuff(the processed meat warning). you would be much better off to get a farm fresh pork. cook it and then slice it into ham/bacon slices

if you are looking to cook meat and you usually give it a 'salt rub'. dont get a cup of salt and rub it into the outside and let it sit to 'soak in'
instead use 10% of the salt you usually do. put it into large saucepan with water in it. and add a mix of the less salt and also some herbs. and boil the meat. and once boiled then roast/barbeque/grill the meat to crisp up the outside.
your food wont be as dry and wont contain as much of the salts

if you buy ready salted meats. soak them in water for a couple hours and then take out the soak. rinse it. dry it and then cook it.

yep if you cant afford 'farm fresh' unpreserved meat. get a preserved(salted) meat and soak it. in water to leach out the salt from the meat
and yes you can even put processed bacon slices into soak to leach out the salt

when i roast a beef joint. i dont salt it. i put some onion, garlic and herb dust and that sharpens the flavour more then salt. and its better for you

however another trick is a 'don't give a crap' mentality. basically its the thought of. if you cant change it, do anything about it or if it doesnt affect you personally.. just dont give a crap about it

You have a very nice post, you basically talking about not worrying your life about what is not important or has immediate outcome. You are correct.

Worrying yourself unnecessarily can lead to depression and that affects the brain and emotion. I think a natural remedy for this is to always keep yourself happy

Being happy makes our health to improve because it keeps the nerves and muscles out of stress and why you don't worry unnecessarily, your brain cells has little to focus on rather than loading it with unnecessary thoughts.

Too much of worry means the heart too will be bothered unnecessarily which can lead to high blood pressure and that's dangerous for both old and young. Let's just "don't give a crap", it can help sustain our health more.

meditation is a way to slow down peoples thoughts of an active mind buy instead of having 30 thoughts a second worrying about things, remembering other things. all you do is concentrate on one thought. a thought of no consequence

however another trick is a 'don't give a crap' mentality. basically its the thought of. if you cant change it, do anything about it or if it doesnt affect you personally.. just dont give a crap about it

when 9-11 happened. and people in the UK that had no relatives linked to it. and they held no stocks/bonds or any american dollars. if they were to be running around trying to start conversations and trying to get involved. they were just causing themselves stress
and this is the problem with modern technology. thinking and worrying about things on the other side of the planet that dont affect you personally. but making yourself affected by it by trying to get involved

when i hear news about terrorist attacks. if it is not happening in my front yard. i dont worry about it.
yes i learn what the causes of it were just to educate myself. but i dont let the fear centre of my brain activate, thus i dont stress over it
after all you dont worry about what an ant does until you start seeing it climb your kitchen table to eat your sandwich.
so why worry about ants while they are not eating your sandwich. why worry about things if they have no chance of affecting you

yes be aware of the causes of hazards around the world so you can educate yourself about what is a personal threat or a future threat. to know how to avoid it. but dont activate your fear centre about something thats not currently harming you. just make a plan to prevent it from harming you so that you never have to fear it

The best choice of mine regarding a healthy lifestyle was to implement meditation in my daily routine. After I wake up I meditate for around 30 minutes. Science shows us that it can reduce stress and the likelihood of many different diseases. I recommend it very much. Smiley

Sometimes I am a bit lazy and skip the session. Wink

in the UK a Mcdonalds costs £4

yet i can buy cucumber, lettuce, tomato. and farmfresh meat to make a burger. for under £1.50
so i can make a healthier alternative to mcdonalds for half the price

its never price. its actually time and effort
many people just want to tap an app and order fast food and never leave the sofa for 45minutes until the door bell rings.
the thought of spending 25 minutes preparing a meal which means they can eat sooner and cheaper never enters their mind.

the first step is to get people to 'batch make' their meals. make 5 days of meals in one go it takes 35 minutes to prepare 5 days of food compared instead of 25 minutes for one meal

then each day, its just reheating it. which can be just 2-5minutes in a microwave

once you get into a habit of prepping healthier food and realising that its not taking you away from the sofa as much. then you see the true price you were paying for the convenience of fast food
