Looks like we're holding steady at ten. The last microbubble popped, all of the weak money has left and now we're back to our regularly scheduled program of stable prices.

The price has never, not in the history of Bitcoin, been steady at 15 US$.

Maybe by "$10 is the new $15" the OP means we will only be here briefly followed by high volatility, a massive sell off and spend the next year below $10.00?  Or maybe the OP is just a fool?

Pretty sure it is one or the other.

$10 is like $5 after the crash from $7 after which we saw a massive increase in the bitcoin circulation in the exchange. Only way up from here is if we see a massive influx of fiat money. Which will happen if the price remains stable, there is constant chatter about bitcoin in the media and there are new developments regarding BitInstant debit card. Otherwise, we will see a historically low trading volume. Sellers unwilling to sell and buyers just waiting for next round of bitcoin dump.

This lack of volatility is boring. I'm gonna head over to GLBSE for some HYIP bond trading for fun and profit.

it wasn't stable at $15 at all, so no: $10 is not the new $15. Maybe at some point $15 will be the new $10, but not for a while.
