Think for yourself
I had the same problem but on a RaspberryPi. Try cgminer 3.1.1 and see if that helps.

Is that how you solved your problem?  Treating each miner as a serial device uses more CPU horsepower.

I cannot seem to get my ASICMiner USB Block Erupters to mine quickly in GNU/Linux on my dual-boot system which also runs Windows 7 Pro.  I am using cgminer 3.3.0 in Windows, and cgminer 3.3.1 in GNU/Linux.

In Windows, each of my 10 USB Block Erupters always gets about 334 MH/s.  In GNU/Linux, they get anywhere from 0 to 334MH/s, but the average is around 100MH/s.  I am using this 10 port USB hub:

Dyconn 10 Port USB 3.0 Power Hub (HUB10B)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA1F80RS7777

This hub can put out 900mA of current per port, which is plenty to power each USB Block Erupter.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?  Does anyone have ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks,
