I'm note sure about the 100k Bitcoin.

Exon mobile has a market cap of 374 billion, if Bitcoin was worth as much as oil then it would be worth ~21,000 a coin.

Since it happens to be a currency that the whole world could use... Maybe it could surpass it. At 100k a coin you're talking about 1.6 trillion.

I was in a similar situation - I threw 40 bucks into syscoin last year at .01 and forgot about it. Turned into 1000. I took the plunge and have an addiction to this forum now haha. I would go conservative with 70% - eth Classic, LTC look really good right now. Then split the remaining 30% into other coins - waves, verge, etc. If you make the right call on the 30% it's very easy for them to go up 3x typically. Then you still have 700 growing a bit. Reinvest the profit and continue

I don't know too much about fiat investing, but I know indexes do better over time then trying to game the market. I think a similar approach should be taken with cryptos. Focus on the compounding profits of long term holding to make a bunch. When you keep reinvesting some of the profit you have more opportunity to hit a coin where you can get huge rewards. In the mean time you have a steady train of 20-30% coming in.

I've almost doubled it so far... Im hoping we get a few more years of this type of action. If it does....well it'll pay for a few awesome vacations at the very least

I suggest to you if you have 1000 dollars right now its better to buy ether now because they have possible the price of this coin will reach $1000 before the end of this year 2017. And i hope it will happen. If you buy ether you can have 3 ether in 1000 dollars and after few months for sure you have now 3000 dollars. What if you have a lot of money maybe you will become instant millionaire for sure.

ETH hype is all because of ICO's using ETH to fund their ICO's. What do you think will happen when these ICO's start dumping their ETH? They will need Fiat to pay their employess and make payments for other expenses.
Moreover, any coin that has gone 2000-5000% up in the past 3-6 months is not a good investment for me. Don't follow the pumps. I would put my money in ZCash & ETC. Waves is also a VERY good option, but be patient with waves as it is having organic growth and may take some time. I would buy waves and forget for 2-3 years, it could be the next ETH.

Take that and throw it all into SIA if you want to take the biggest risk.

NEM is a good choice. I can still see a lot of room for profit there. Just monitor the flow for now.

Well maybe theoretically it's possible but for now Ethereum is the best. I personally think that since so many qualified developers are working in the field they would invent a better coin already if that was possible.

ANS without a doubt. ETH is losing traction incredibly fast. The others have potential but nothing quite like ANS.

My focus has shifted to privacy coins. The ones i have my eye on are cloak,pivx,zcoin,zencash and zclassic. My gut tells me cloak is the best of the bunch for upside potential.

This coin is perspective, but there are more successful  chinks at the market, now all invest  in Ethereum , an eternal height will not be, and it is so possible on other to begin to work quicker. 

ANS would be a good buy from the list above in my opinion but you had better to invest in WAVES (new DEX release in the coming weeks), ARDR (mainnet release in the third quarter), GAME (gamestore release in the coming weeks) and GBYTE (free airdrop every month until 2018).

My vote went for the Ethereum. This coin has shown such a big rise lately that I don't know to which other coin's rise it can be compared. Although it was over $400 ten days ago and now it might look like that was the coin's peak from where it will fall, I think ETH has bigger potential and what we'll see in the future will be much higher than $400 .

at $580M MK, Zcash is already overpriced imho.

I advise you to invest in Bitcoin 1000$, this currency will reach 500,000$ in 2030 if the situation will be the same.
You can diversify you investissement into other cryptocurrencies like Dogecoin, Nem, Nxt but it's more risckly.

Its better to invest your 1000 dollars in waves because this coin have big potential to increase in the future so its better to buy now . You can choose also ethereum because this coin possible price will become 1000 dollars before the end of this year.

I think you should invest a part of your money in Bitcoin for sure as it is one of the most stable cryprtocurrency available oh there. You should also invest apart of your coins in altcoins like ethereum and monero. This diversification will reduce the risk of market.

Doing research implies that there is a correlation between the quality of these alt coins and how well they perform price-wise. You are far, far better off holding bitcoin than buying any of these. That being said, bitcoin trend seems to be reversing so you may be better off just staying away from crypto at the moment.

ETH is near to change from PoW to PoS and there's no means to be reproduce after that change. The best thing to do is invest to ETH once there's a less supply in the market the price will grow. The same thing with bitcoin, but also there's a good contender and that is LTC which is being mined by the Chinese miners.

So many people are advising you to also invest in Bitcoin, but with only $1000 to invest, I'd personally not do that.
I wouldn't invest in Bitcoin for any less than $5000 and even that is on the low side, I'd say.

I would invest in a coin that's not on your list, LTC, if you have a look at their planned features for 2017, I'd say there's a very good chance that you'd see another big rise the next couple of months.

If your choice is altcoin then it is indeed the best. There are some altcoins that do have a reputation and a good chance to continue to increase. Until now ETH became the most successful altcoin ever, I advise you to invest here. ETH some time ago continues to increase in price as more and more investors are putting hope in this coin. So you should immediately invest in ETH and take advantage in the future.

Even though I would keep my little wealth in alt coins, I think the major part of my crypto investments would be definitely the bitcoin. When it comes to the altcoins, I would pick ETH, XLTH, DOGE as my major investments in alt coin category. I am very optimistic about bitcoin and I believe that it is still undervalued and in next 10 years we will see something called the real potential of the internet currency. We are in a beta stage at this moment.

I would never keep 1000$ in just one coin, other than BTC of course. You must diversify your investments in different coins because there is no guarantee of anything in crypto world. Think about it and if you are confident with these 5 coins then invest in all and be aware of the ongoings.

This indeed is very interesting and can determine our profit in the future. Because investing in the right place will provide a return behind the very large, as is the case with our predecessor namely bitcoin. On my experience, every crypto are much more relative to bitcoin and rises when bitcoin rise. So, holding bitcoin are one of the best investment. For the time being you can invest the coins as it is somewhere.

Oh and you mentioned icn. I don't know much about it. Basically you let others invest for you. You can get a 50% return after a month, estimated. Is ok if you are lazy and happy with 50%, and not worried about things like what happened with ethereum today. There are other alt coins that can do much better in a month, especially if you are day trading, even on just a few coins. I hear that they burn some coins every month, so yes it could be a good investment. I wish I got in earlier. Might not be too late.

Yes hold bitcoin. By 2020 it could be worth 100k per btc. But if you want to try and get some 10 times in altcoins you have to pick some that aren't pumped already. Antshares surely will go up with the recent news but how much more? I doubt 10 times, at least not for a year. Golem project is still a ways off, it could do pretty well, in a bout a year, keep in mind it has competition. Sia coin is already pumped, it has such a huge coin supply in the billions so don't expect it to hit $1 or even 50 cents.

I would suggest to invest into bitcoin, because no other cryptocurrencies have given such a big profit on holding for a long. It has been suggested that more Bitcoin investors who are entrepreneurs of big corporates have predicted that the price could reach as high as half a million dollar. So a $1000 investment right now will be very big at that time.

Why isn't BTC on the list? Seems to me all growth is proportional to it.

I have 1 grand and have spent the last week doing research. These are the 5 I'm most interested in. I'd personally rather only invest all out into 1. If you had to pick which coin would you invest in? (short or long).
