Milk and food prices are highest in India since 2014. 1 litre milk = Rs 70 or Rs 80. Farmers are getting greedy.

I never heard about this story. It certainly made headlines though. Some of you are upset that they wasted the milk. The poor people wouldn't have been able to buy the milk, even if it was being sold. I think it's a good idea for a protest. If you don't milk a cow, it's not good for it. The cows still had to be milked that day, so they had to decided what to do with. They could have just dumped it down the drain, but think think this had a much better effect for their cause. My favorite strike idea that I heard of recently was from South Korea. The bus drivers went on strike. They actually kept driving their buses, they just refused to take payment from passengers. This way regular people didn't suffer, just the bus company (or government?). It's hard to ignore that.

The waste of nutritional food or beverage in any form is terrible when there are people starving. I don't know what they are looking for exactly but this generally boils down to the farmers getting small percentage of the profits for what they produce when compared to others in the supply chain.

I don't agree with the waste, personally I think it would have been better to provide these items to the impoverished folks in those regions. This would still cut the supply to the top tiers of the society and generate the effect you are looking for; mind you without the wow factor.

Similar protests took place 80 some years ago in North America.

they are imitating what they have seen from the farmers in the west.

indian society could quickly incorporate them making the farming in india run by huge industrial comapanies this would help limit the popualtion growth in india as the family farms systematically cause growth and ressource scarcity in india.

Food prices in India are the highest since 2014. They are criminal/lazy farmers who want more money for the crops the easy way.
