I think it will works well since i saw review where they use Palit GeForce GTX 1050 Ti KalmX with 12cm fan (500RPM) which placed 35cm from the GPU and the result is the GPU never pass 60C. But note that the review have different environment and only use 1 GPU.
But i think the temperature could pass 60C if the GPUs are close to each other or/and the room don't have good air circulation.

Also, based on picture on the review, i think you might need 12 silent fans, unless you could figure out better GPU/fans position.

In theory it should keep them cool.

There is a test on a german site: https://www.computerbase.de/2017-02/palit-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-kalmx-test/3/

They have the highest Temepratur with Anno 2205 and with their Testconfiguration 1 (CPU cooler 150mm @1000rpm, front fan + back fan (both 140mm) in the case @1000rpm) it keeps the card pretty cool at 61 Degrees celsius...

I am just not sure how much fans one would need if you have 12 of them in an open air rig...

yeah i wonder about these passively cooling - does it just keep the card cool by moving the heat into the air? because yeah then it doesn't really help keep the apartment cool.

i wish i knew about hvac stuff more, it's like greek to me

I am just planning a new mining rig. Since I have to put it in someones appartment (and the other tennants complain about everything), so it has to be super quiet...

So I came across passively cooled 1050TI's, so I figured I just take 12 of those + an array of quiet fans that have alot of throughput (maybe nb-eloop b14-2) in an open air case...

Does anyone by any chance have experience with passive cooled 1050TI cards + mining?
Is it possible or dou you guys think they will get too hot despite an array of fans?
