This is really unbelievable. This number $ 10K has something magical in it. This news will be breaking like a wild fire everywhere. Let's hope it to be new baseline. Smiley

Ladies and gentlemen,  1 bitcoin is now $10000.. Congratulations!
I will be more happy when it will be at $100k per bitcoin but for that we might have to go through several pump and correction. Another round of big correction on every crypto is around the corner so its better to sell some of your bitcoins before it will be too late. Bitcoin price might correct upto <$8k within next few days.

Whether the price will stay there is the important question for me. We have crossed the $10K threshold a few times now but couldn't manage to hold on. If bitcoin gains a foothold past the $10K mark, then that would be really huge in my opinion.

Agreed, I think the major USD based exchanges need to meaningfully break past the $10,000 barrier to really gain that foothold. The Asian exchanges have always ran a few hundred dollars higher so it still is not convincing.

Yes, its mostly on Asian exchanges though. Coinmarketcap shows $10014.60   now.Let's see how it goes though, this is really good to see that it breaks this barrier but I wanted to see if we can maintain this price at certain point.

This is a big mental barrier for traders, its very tempting to dump some of your bitcoins and take profit, but I don't know that's why I will have to observe and see how everything will pan out in the next couple of days. It's gonna be critical but I hope that we can really sustained it at least before a price correction takes place.

Ladies and gentlemen,  1 bitcoin is now $10000.. Congratulations!

Which exchange are you looking at, as the big ones are still a bit under $10K: GDAX $9,930, Bitfinex: $9,848, Bitstamp: $9,865, Kraken: $9,828

I was looking at coinmarketcap.

I think by the end of this year we will get the meaningful break past 10k.. I for one have never seen the break past 10k on coinmarketcap.. This is the first one i have seen.

Yeah, I see that now your image wasn't loading when I first replied.

I also never seen it past $10k so yeah it is still exciting, although as i said I will be more convinced once the major US exchanges start getting past it. I suppose the Korean exchange rate equating to $10k USD is just some number, whereas USD based exchanges have the psychological barrier to break through as $10,000 is almost magical somehow.

Congratulations to everyone.  I am very sure that many are millionaires right now.  This is a precious gift to us, having bitcoin is like given a gift as that of life.  If the bitcoin price will continue to rise, it will give many hopes to people and poverty I guess will be lessen.

Ya. Really hearty congrats to all supporter who staked or transacted bitcoins. Without massive support to innovative blockchain technology bitcoin cannot sustain. But now bitcoin have proved its existence, importance, usability and value.

This is just beginning. Next whole world will see what will going to happen. Bitcoin price will skyrocket to $100000 to even $1000000 or even more in coming future.

Many new users are getting involved in bitcoin, in the mean time people who already had bitcoins but sold out are also taking more interest as price is passed $10000.

Many other altcoins are also making strong moves on exchanger.
