This may sound strange, but theymos may use the Satoshi account to trick people into the tenth anniversary of the forum.
He has done a lot in April Fools so this trick will be amazing and it will make a lot of fuss.
I'd be highly disappointed if theymos would do this, and I expect the chance of this happening to be lower than the chance of adding KYC.

As far as I know, satoshi's account is locked to prevent it from ever being abused, until Satoshi proves ownership.

Even if there is any announcement of KYC on the 10th anniversary, it will be a temporary thing as mentioned by theymos.
What else can be a forum feature which is not the prank either  Huh

I have exactly 3 plans for the 10th anniversary:

 - Another thing which I will make public on Tuesday, probably. It's a temporary forum feature similar to past april fools things in some ways, though not a prank.

Because of the sudden disappearance (his last posts don't look like someone who's about to leave, I always assumed something bad must have happened. The best scenario I can think of would be jail, the worst scenario would be either an accident, or killed.

If Satoshi is a group of people, the sudden disappearance because of an accident or jail is much less likely. In that case "in hiding" would be a possible scenario, but I don't think Bitcoin was such a big deal back then so that doesn't make sense either.

He has communicated with a few other people as late as late April 2011:

https://plan99.net/~mike/satoshi-emails/thread5.html
https://nakamotostudies.org/emails/satoshis-final-email-to-gavin-andresen/

"I wish you wouldn’t keep talking about me as a mysterious shadowy figure the press just turns that into a pirate currency angle. [...]"

"I've moved on to other things.  It's in good hands with Gavin and everyone."

I think it's clear he is/was a very private person who left out of his own initiative.

I highly doubt he would do this. And why trick people on the tenth anniversary of bitcointalk? We're six months away from April. Theymos has previously stated that he has not read satoshi's PMs even though he has access to the information. Breaching his account would be a breach of privacy, hardly something to do as a prank.
I don't read PMs for fun. Very very rarely, I need to read PMs for technical, administrative, or legal reasons, but I try to avoid this as much as possible. I don't want to spy on anyone's personal business.

obviously lol, i bet the first thing theymos did when he became admin was to read satoshi's pms.

I've never read Satoshi's PMs.

As for Satoshi, I do not expect that he will return soon. A lot of tremors will actually occur in the price if he/she/they appears.
That would be interesting to say at least...

But while this would make a lot of fuss, I don't think people would like this. Theymos already has a lot of "enemies" due to the BCH and /r/btc stuff so they would just go bananas about it. Cheesy

He also said it's more of a forum functionality (like the previous April 1st).

If satoshi becomes active again on the 10th anniversary. Then...?

Old members saw Satoshi, when he was active on bitcointalk. But for those (Including me) who have bad luck, who have passed the almost 10 years to hear about Bitcoin! They will ever see Satoshi again on Bitcointalk ?

I read a thread before wherein Theymos and Satoshi is discussing about bitcoin and blockchain technicalities and that actually blow my mind. How lucky Theymos for interacting that legendary icon, isn't it?

Though, I don't know what thread it is as I'm just browsing some threads back then and that thread caught my eye. I know, deep down there, Satoshi is watching us. Lol!

Satoshi; whether a group of people or a singular person likely has a life outside of Bitcoin, and being in hiding doesn't necessarily mean its related to Bitcoin.

Considering how careful Satoshi was to remain anonymous, it's quite likely that there wasn't really a "disappearance" of some particular entity. Someone, who could be otherwise well known (but definitely not CSW) and perhaps remains very much engaged in Bitcoin, decided to stop using that pseudonym, which was created for the purpose of kick-starting the project and was no longer needed when the project picked up speed.
And, we've had several people over the last decade get accused of being Satoshi including a few developers. If my memory serves me correctly I believe at one point Gavin was accused of being Satoshi, although lets be honest Gavin got accused of a lot of things after going to the FBI to talk them through Bitcoin.

I've always had the suspicion that Satoshi isn't just one person, but who knows.

I just wrote this in another thread:

I don't believe that Satoshi will ever come back to this forum.
Yeah, I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon.  But man, wouldn't it be something if he did come back for the 10th anniversary?  That would be the biggest story in bitcoin's history thus far.

I've always had the suspicion that Satoshi isn't just one person, but who knows.  In any event I don't think if he is a single individual that he's going to come back to the forum--ever.  It would be amazing, though, as I wrote in my above post.  Not sure what he would say here if he came back, but an AMA session would put to rest so many questions that people have (though it might raise a hell of a lot more).

Opps! Title is quite misleading.

Edit: seems OP has edited title during my reply.

They will ever see Satoshi again on Bitcointalk ?
Most likely NO

Your suspicion quite reasonable and I am agree with that. On the other hand I believe that idea of bitcoin came from single brain although it would concluded from a group of team. And the account of satoshi been operated by a person.
