Monero hard fork? Is that monero gold because I have that coin and I don't like the rate at which that project is moving. The developers should work more on the success of monero gold so that the investors won't be disappointed.

Does anyone of you guys know, if the major exchanges are supporting the hard fork and if i can claim the new coins from there afterwards? Or can anyone suggest a good wallet for monero?

Hi! I never used this wallet before but I use Monero hardware wallet. And there is the way to claim coins there so it might also work for online wallet. Check it out.

That was exactly what I was looking for! Helped a lot! Managed to claim 50 XMV)

Uhh, the fork is on April 30? Thats 2 days from now so this is obviously a lie. What are you playing at?
Hopefully some moderators or managers see your post and tag it as spam.

In any case, for the OP, all you will need is your private key. As long as you have that, you will be able to claim some XMV.

Really do not know about monero coin that much but as what I understand, when a coin forks, you have to really put your possessions on the wallets that are recommended by the coin developers themselves so that you can be sure that it will really support the fork. Also, you can always ask the developers themselves or any community managers they have so you can really confirm if you are storing your coins in the right wallets so you can receive the forked coins.

Usually when there is a hardfork, if you want to be sure you will get the new coin, you have to store your current asset in the wallet that you own the private key. Since mymonero.com giving you the private key, so it should support the hardfork.
