At this rate it looks like we will each have our own coin in no time. They are just putting a popular face behind the coin to be able to get more money to put their money into another scam coin. We do not need more coins, we already have enough to tend to our needs no matter what they are. People should be careful about putting their money in celebrity powered shit coins.

Interesting news. The project seems very promising and quite interesting. Will surely take part in ICO. And I wonder will there be any bounty program? I would like to take part in it as well.

The development of own cryptocurrencies is about to become a trend among football stars, as Ronaldinho is the next in line with his RSC coin.

Former Brazilian footballer Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, known as Ronaldinho, is not staying aloof from the cryptocurrency hype and announced the launch of his own crypto-coin.

His announcement was made via YouTube on Ronaldinho’s Twitter account on July 6, 2018, the same day when Brazil’s national football team, where Ronaldinho used to play until 2013, lost to Belgium in the quarterfinals of the 2018 World Cup.

This crypto will be used in conjunction with digital VR stadiums around the world to create a global football academy, powered by blockchain. The project is titled Ronaldinho Soccer Coin, formerly World Soccer Coin prior to inking the partnership with the football superstar.

The stadiums will be developed in 300 locations around the world, with facilities planned for countries in Africa, S.E. Asia, and the Middle East over the next three years. These stadiums could host matches, operate markets and betting platforms, as well as use a blockchain to compile an online database of players and stats.

Sounds like a celebrity powered shitcoin. I am sure that Ronaldinho's celebrity will lure in a lot of people that know even less about cryptocurrencies than he does. Anyone with any knowledge will look at this as just someone using their celebrity to fund a vanity project that can't raise money without praying on stupid people. This project will just create a lot of disgruntled newbies that will blame crypto and not Ronaldinho when they lose their money.
