Perhaps Rome should call the Knights Templars and the Knights Hospitallers back, as those smoky pagan bastards getting annoying again :/. Religion has been the excuse for conflict for thousands of years.

Horrible the hatred they have for Christians. RIP to those innocent victims, they are now in peace with our Lord. Upstanding people and amazing examples of true Christians.

ISIS members have their own ''religion'', i doubt that they know even 5% about the other religions or even about islam.

Newbies think that they will join a state which applies the islam's rules but once they joined them, they discover that they made &  excute another rules, their owns rules!
Never read a religion allows their members to kill, rape a peaceful civilian nor destroy his house or throw him from a high building (like there was a high building decades ago lol'd).
And ofc, most of the countries don't care, they are making an air strikes... Like they can destroy it with only this thing... But, since the Soviet partisans Russian army is deploying its forces in Syria then let's watch what will happens next.

The goal of Christianity is to spread the Gospel. This Gospel is the good news that people will rise from the dead at the last day. And those who believed in the salvation of Jesus will gain a joyful, glorious eternal life with God.

When Christians make mistakes, it is they are human, just like all the atheists who make the same kinds of mistakes that Christians do.

Turning all of them into ash would be good for the rest of the world. It seems we need more bombs.

That's because Islam is a religion with two major goals:
1. Converting the world to Islam;
2. Getting the tax money.

There are often many differences in the way we die. Many of us feel it coming. To others it is a surprising shock... for a few minutes maybe. But we all die.

incredible that none of them gave in and really demonstrates the superiority of christianity to islam. muslims are allowed to deny their faith to avoid persecution.

I would think seeing someone at peace with dying for their faith no matter what they do to them, would show people how real Jesus's saving grace and peace is even to the point of torture and death. But it never seems to convince anyone.

Twelve Christians have been brutally executed by the Islamic State, including the 12-year-old son of a Syrian ministry team leader who had planted nine churches, because they refused to renounce the name of Jesus Christ and embrace Islam. The martyrs were faithful to the very end; right before one woman was beheaded by the terror group, she appeared to be smiling slightly as she said, “Jesus!”

According to Christian Aid Mission, a humanitarian group which assists indigenous Christian workers in their native countries, the horrific murders took place on August 28 in an unnamed village outside Aleppo, Syria.

“In front of the team leader and relatives in the crowd, the Islamic extremists cut off the fingertips of the boy and severely beat him, telling his father they would stop the torture only if he, the father, returned to Islam,” Christian Aid revealed, according to a report from Morning Star News. “When the team leader refused, relatives said, the ISIS militants also tortured and beat him and the two other ministry workers. The three men and the boy then met their deaths in crucifixion.”

They were killed for refusing to return to Islam after embracing Christianity, as were the other eight aid workers, including two women, according to Christian Aid. The eight were taken to a separate site in the village and asked if they would return to Islam. However, after they refused to renounce Christ, the women, ages 29 and 33, were raped before the crowd summoned to watch, and then all eight were beheaded.

They prayed as they knelt before the Islamic State militants, according to the ministry leader Christian Aid assists, who spoke with relatives and villagers while visiting the site.

“Villagers said some were praying in the name of Jesus, others said some were praying the Lord’s Prayer, and others said some of them lifted their heads to commend their spirits to Jesus,” the ministry director told Christian Aid. “One of the women looked up and seemed to be almost smiling as she said, ‘Jesus!'”
