I contacted coinbase and if they send it to the address that it uses to send it is linked to your account is how I had it explained to me
I would still advise not using it. They might have changed their system and on handling things, but still better not to take the risk.
You can however test this, by sending a transaction out, and then sending a small amount back to that address and see if it shows up on your coinbase account.
