I'd recommend you to get 2 850W power supplies. It is usually recommended that you don't draw more than 80% of total capacity. Even if you underpower (which you should) in MSI AfterBurner , you should understand that at times GPUs can still draw max possible power. Using two 850W power supplies will work best. I prefer keeping it safe when cost involved in doing so isn't that significant.

I have been using these for a while now, and they have been working great.
Using 48 of them so far, and definitely beats the overly price branded psus

Otherwise, server PSUs with a breakout board would work as well, and they are generally cheaper

Hello everyone , the question is simple . I am planning to build a 13 GPU with 13xGTX 1060 . What PSU will you recommend?

2 x 750W will be fine ? or 2 x 1000w?

Thanks

I just assume using 2 PSUs and power plan likes:

 - PSU1: 6 VGAs + 6 risers + MB/chip
 - PSU2: 7 VGAs + 7 Risers

if it's the case, both PSU1 and PSU2 should be 850W. You could use 2 x 750W PSU, but the power limit should be reduced.

phil he cold buy the refurbished

1200 watts for 244

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/ax1200i-digital-atx-power-supply-1200-watt-80-plus-platinum-certified-modular-psu-na-refurbished

860 watts for 159

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/ax860i-digital-atx-power-supply-860-watt-80-plus-platinum-certified-fully-modular-psu-na-refurbished

they do 8 -1 = 7 pcie  with  double head =  14

and 6 - 0 = 6 pcie with double head = 12

that is 26 jacks for 13 cards.

and 2060 watts  which would allow for  1070's to slowly replace his 1060's

I own one  so  I can tell you  you need 26 pcie cables and about 1600 watts of power.

2 of these  have 7 + 8 = 15 jacks  and each can hold this cable

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/type-3-flat-black-ribbon-cable-pcie-6-2-pin-dual-connectors-compatible-with-all-type-3-pin-out-psu

so you could do up to 15 gpus

but the psu is expensive
